The Wiggles’ Caterina Mete shares unseen footage of C-section with her twin daughters as she marks three months since giving birth

Caterina Mete has shared never-before-seen footage of the C-section birth of her twin daughters to mark three months since her labour.
43-year-old The Red Wiggle announced her pregnancy in February following the use of IVF with an unidentified sperm donor. Later on, she disclosed that she was carrying not one but two baby girls.
On a Friday, Caterina posted personal videos on Instagram showcasing the birth of her twin babies, who were born miraculously on June 25th and are her initial offspring.
Caterina, being unattached, posted a compilation showing her experience before, during, and following her Caesarean section.
The video starts off at a hospital where Caterina courageously flashed a smile for the camera while hospital staff assisted in delivering her twin babies from her womb.
Caterina affirmatively shared the charming monikers of her newly-born girls, Dolly Frankie and Gigi Emma, while expressing her delight at their birth on Instagram.
The footage shows each newborn baby girl being pulled out into the world for the very first time, tiny and crying.
Caterina beamed with happiness upon the arrival of her babies, her face splitting into a wide grin from ear to ear. She tenderly cradled her newborn daughters against her face and chest following the delivery.
‘Three months of loving you,’ the proud single mum captioned her video of milestones.
The video displayed her twin newborn girls in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, connected to various tubes – and then lying together next to a joyful message: “Two weeks old now”.
In the upcoming scene, an overjoyed Caterina walked into her house for the first time, each arm cradling a baby in a carrier.
In a delightful video compilation, Caterina was shown cherishing the initial moments of her daughters, Gigi and Dolly. She gently washed them with washcloths, followed by a joyous celebration marking their first month, both girls dressed in identical onesies and pretty pink headbands.
Enthusiasts and companions were unable to contain their feelings in the comments section, expressing their joy by calling the newborn Wiggles ‘priceless’ and ‘cute’.
In February, Caterina announced her pregnancy during a live broadcast on The Wiggles, showing two babygrow outfits of the Red Wiggle design. It was a touching moment.
Her solo IVF journey wasn’t straightforward as she recently opened up about her heartbreaking miscarriage before she got pregnant with her ‘miracle’ babies.
The twins already have a fabulous dress sense.
They are often spotted donning white rompers labeled with their names in elegant script, vibrant patterns, and beanies, along with miniature Wiggle outfits in a bright red shade.
In just a few short weeks, Caterina eagerly anticipated the arrival of her twin girls, expressing excitement about how prepared she felt to welcome them both into her world.
She expressed her eagerness and impatience to meet them, while also trying to get as much rest as possible, according to her latest Instagram post. As for the nursery, it seems she’s all set, and thinks she too is prepared.
Prior to starting her maternity leave at the end of May, her loved ones from Wiggles had a delightful baby shower for her as well.
She posted a variety of pictures from the event, expressing gratitude to her coworkers for organizing such a considerate farewell party on her final workday.
At the party, Tsehay Hawkins (a fellow Wiggle), John Pearce, and veteran member Anthony Field joined her, along with some members from the production team.
In her early 30s, Caterina decided to preserve her fertility by freezing her eggs. Later on, she used sperm from her selected donor to create two embryos. Tragically, after the initial embryo transfer, Caterina experienced a miscarriage.
‘It was certainly a shock to find out I had miscarried,’ she told maternity brand The Inarra.

After undergoing another embryo transfer, it was announced to Caterina that she was expecting twins, bringing her joy.
In the heartwarming month of February, I proudly unveiled my exciting pregnancy news to the world during my performance with The Wiggles. As I held up two adorable Red Wiggle baby grows, it was a moment filled with love and anticipation that I’ll cherish forever.

Caterina has become quite familiar to us as one of The Wiggles, starting out as a recurring dance performer in their recordings prior to being appointed the role of Red Wiggle in 2022.
