The truth behind granny who hilariously flipped the bird at rich Lamborghini driving MAFS groom – and the wild amount she got paid for her two seconds on the show

Scott McCristal often shows off his money, but viewers weren’t all thrilled with that behavior on Tuesday’s episode of Married At First Sight.

A 33-year-old businessman from Queensland was filmed driving his Lamborghini and bragging about his fast-paced lifestyle.

He saw an angry grandmother walking her dog on the grass, and she didn’t look happy.

The grandma flipped the bird at Scott, and appeared to be utterly fuming.

However, Daily Mail can reveal that the hilarious moment was staged for the cameras.

Producers noticed an elderly woman while she was walking near the filming location and invited her to be in the movie, according to a source.

According to a source, the woman, who is elderly, received only $50 for her appearance on the popular reality TV show and was also required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Viewers enjoyed the playful moment and many shared their reactions on the show’s official social media page.

One person excitedly called her ‘The grandma!’ with lots of laughing emojis, and another commenter said she voiced what everyone else was thinking.

Scott married Gia Fleur during Tuesday night’s episode.

The situation quickly deteriorated when the 35-year-old worker, who provides services to people with disabilities, became angry and began using profanity during the event.

Gia angrily walked down the beachside aisle towards Scott at the altar, upset that she was forced to wear heels for the occasion.

She then took her heels off so she could walk on the sand, screaming out ‘oh s**t’ in frustration.

After that moment, the ceremony proceeded smoothly. In a playful gesture, Gia playfully flashed her underwear at Scott during the emotional event.

Married at First Sight 2026 premiered on Monday night and immediately sparked drama.

Married At First Sight is known for its drama, and the upcoming 2026 season promises to be particularly explosive.

‘Production has every reason to be p**sed off,’ one insider told Daily Mail.

The event was a complete disaster. People left, arguments happened, and one couple is now having serious problems.

This comes after last season’s strict curfew, where contestants had to be back in their apartments by 10 p.m. on weeknights and 11 p.m. on weekends.

Production reportedly became stricter after crew members complained that the actors were being disrespectful and self-centered by leaving the set during filming.

A leaked email from the production team revealed strong dissatisfaction with the cast, citing a lack of respect towards the crew.

Guests were told their room keys would stop working after a certain time unless a specific member of the production team was notified.

Married At First Sight continues Wednesday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
