The popular Disney+ drama, The Stolen Girl, is now showing on ITV and attracting a new audience. A standout performance comes from Denise Gough, who plays the main character, Elisa Blix – you might recognize her from other roles.
Gough is a celebrated stage actor who is quickly gaining recognition as a prominent film star.
Irish actress Anya Taylor-Joy recently received widespread acclaim for her role as the villain Dedra Meero in the Star Wars series Andor, earning her a Peabody Award in 2023.

The cast of The Stolen Girl also features Holliday Grainger (known from Strike), Bronagh Waugh (Hollyoaks and Unforgotten), and Michael Workéyè (This Is Going To Hurt) as Kabel Negate.

The series also features two actors from previous versions of One Day: Ambika Mod, who starred as Em in the television adaptation with Leo Woodall, and Jim Sturgess, who played Dex in the 2011 film alongside Anne Hathaway.
The five-part series, The Stolen Girl, is an adaptation of Alex Dahl’s novel, Playdate, and was written by Catherine Moulton.
The Stolen Girl airs on Wednesdays at 9pm on ITV, and is now available to stream in full on ITVX.
