The Simpsons has done it again.
Several users on X/Twitter have noted an intriguing coincidence regarding The Simpsons on Fox. In a 2000 episode, Lisa Simpson donned a purple suit similar to Vice President Kamala Harris’s inauguration outfit from 2021.
On Sunday, the meme spread rapidly as President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Harris to replace him, just over a month before the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
Claudia Jordan, an actress who previously appeared on Real Housewives of Atlanta, shared a comparison photo of Harris next to Simpson with the caption: “The Simpsons foreshadowed this, it seems.”
A different user pointed out that in the seventeenth episode of the eleventh season of The Simpsons (around the year 2000), Lisa Simpson was portrayed as the United States’ first female president, addressing financial issues following President Trump. Meanwhile, Kamala wore the same outfit during Biden’s inauguration.
