Next week, NEXON is set to roll out the second update for “The First Descendant” Season 1: Invasion. This update will introduce Ultimate Freyna to the free-to-play looter-shooter game, along with a fresh Void Intercept Boss Battle and Halloween-themed content.

In summary, the advanced model of Freyna, known as Ultimate Freyna, will incorporate unique Toxic Moisture and Venom Injection components. The Toxic Moisture feature causes Necrosis in adversaries, allowing for stacking with a heightened Firearm Attack stat. On the other hand, the Venom Injection drains resources to recharge Freyna’s shield and amplify her Skill Power Modifier, all while inflicting Corrosion on enemies.

In the upcoming update, a fresh Ultimate Weapon named ‘Frost Watcher’ will be introduced, accompanied by a new game mode for Infiltration Operations at an increased rate of 400%. This means more monsters in continuous battles, and a unique currency to accumulate for buying special items from the enigmatic merchant ‘ETA-0’. If you’re familiar with Destiny’s Xur, you’ve got the idea; he appears only from Friday to Sunday in Albion.

Ultimately, Albion will get a makeover for Halloween too, featuring eerie decorations, exclusive shop items such as skins, cosmetics, and hair dyes. Additionally, players can participate in the new event called “Freyna’s Encrypted Vault Shop.” By completing in-game tasks, you earn points that can be traded to open Encrypted Vaults containing a variety of rewards.

The debut season of “The First Descendant” titled “Invasion” is set to release its second update on October 10th, available for play on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and personal computers.
