The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Patch 1.2 will bring in new difficulty options, quest fixes, & more

Bethesda Softworks and Virtuos have unveiled an update for the remastered version of “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion” titled Patch 1.2, offering enhanced challenge levels, corrected quest issues, boosted performance, and additional features.

New adjustable difficulty levels offer players additional fine-tuning for Player Battle Damage and Enemy Battle Damage. Performance enhancements tackle frame rate issues, rendering improvements, and more. The update is now accessible in Steam Beta testing. Settings Changes

  • To enhance the gaming experience, we’ve introduced more challenge levels. These include “Novice”, “Apprentice”, “Adept”, “Journeyman”, “Expert”, and “Master”. In the game settings, you can now pick your preferred level of difficulty. The “Journeyman” setting is designed to provide a smoother transition between “Adept” and “Expert” modes for our players.
