It seems that Courtney McInnes, the furniture designer with the keen eye for design and the knack for dishing out juicy gossip, has given us an insight into the aftermath of the shocking cheating scandal.

On Tuesday, Courtney McInnes from The Block publicly addressed the surprising cheating allegations that involve her fellow cast members Mimi Belperio and Brad Baker.

32-year-old furniture designer shared with HIT WA’s Allan and Carly that Kylie Baker contacted her fellow actor Mimi, following the surprising incident on set where Mimi was caught up in a cheating scandal involving Kylie’s spouse, Brad.

Courtney shared that they did have a conversation following some event, though she doesn’t feel they’re particularly close at this moment, but there has been communication between them.

In the wake of the scandal, Courtney noted that the co-stars appeared to have developed a fragile bond, though she wasn’t certain about the depth of their relationship.

Things are all good for now. However, it’s uncertain whether discussing past matters might reemerge. Time will tell, as they say, since conversations about such topics occurred a few weeks back.

She then revealed whether both Kristian and Mimi and Kylie and Brad were still together as couples.

Absolutely, they’ve remained a couple. In fact, we recently bumped into them at an event a few weeks back. Our friendship continues to thrive, and yes, they are still together as a couple.

Courtney’s unexpected remarks came after news broke about Mimi’s alleged attempts to hide her scandal involving Brad, which was set to be revealed on Channel Nine a few days prior.

On Monday night’s home improvement program, a surprising revelation unfolded as Brad confessed he had been playfully flirtatious towards his fellow host, Mimi.

In a surprising turn of events, Brad’s partner Kylie decided to step down from the production following an instance where she heard Brad suggesting to Mimi, who is wedded to competitor Kristian, that he would subscribe to her OnlyFans account.

Mimi was asked about the scandal at the Channel Nine Upfronts on Thursday.

She told Daily Mail Australia she ‘didn’t know much’ about it despite being at the centre of the incident.

‘I can’t tell you much about it, but I don’t really know,’ she said.

What I want to point out about this series is that all events depicted have already transpired. We’ve grown from every experience and have come out stronger. Consequently, whenever something occurs again, it’s a replay of the past. Frankly, it no longer bothers me.

She also claimed there was ‘no tension’ between her, Brad and Kylie, adding: ‘There is nothing going on’. 

On Monday, it came to light that Brad admitted to making questionable remarks toward Mimi, during a conversation over drinks in his house, with his wife Kylie peacefully asleep nearby.

Later on, Brad expressed that he felt his marriage was over and that he alone had brought about its demise due to his actions following Kylie’s unexpected departure from the project.

Overwhelmed, Kylie returned to Cairns to comfort their four children following the disclosure that her husband had discussed following Mimi on her OnlyFans account.
