The Block’s big bedroom reveals: Competition heats up between the Blockheads as auction day grows closer with Mimi and Kristian neck and neck with Courtney and Grant
As someone who has spent countless hours watching home renovation shows, I must admit that Kylie and Brad have truly outdone themselves this time! Their bedroom transformation is nothing short of breathtaking, and it’s clear they’ve put their hearts into every detail.
The intensity of the contest on The Block is increasing, as the grand bedroom unveilings will take place during this coming Sunday’s episode.
Mimi, Kristian, Courtney, and Grant all vied for the top spot, ultimately leaving them to divide the $10,000 reward evenly among themselves.
As a devoted follower, I can attest that my Mediterranean-style bedroom makeover cost me a substantial $27,637, but every penny was well spent.
Darren Palmer joined the conversation by expressing that the room embodied a ‘2024 aesthetic’, which he found to be exceptionally effective. He went on to say, ‘I can sense this space, it resonates with me.’
Fellow judge Marty Fox chimed in: ‘It’s the most marketable room we’ve seen so far on The Block’.
The couple’s final score of 28 from all three judges put them in front.
Kristian and Mimi spent significantly fewer resources, approximately $19,569, yet achieved a comparable degree of accomplishment in their luxurious project.
Darren commented, “Kristian and Mimi really stepped up. They’ve made this house look absolutely stunning.
This house will be exceptionally stunning and ideal for capturing photographs, boasting proportions unlike any other property on “The Block”.
The couple’s final score of 28 tied them with rivals Courtney and Grant for the cash prize.
Meanwhile, Maddie and Charlotte spent $22, 536 and walked away with a score of 24.5.
Marty expressed his delight at how they’ve made the area more sophisticated, further stating that their work might secure them a victory in the contest.

‘This is insane. WOW,’ judge Shaynna Blaze chimed in about the Modern Colonial themed room.
Ricky and Haydn spent a hefty $25,406 and the best mates garnered a final score of 21.5.
Marty complimented the holiday theme of the room, saying it was ‘absolutely appropriate for the coastal location.’
‘All the choices in here are gorgeous,’ Darren agreed, clearly impressed with the renovation.

Kylie and Brad spent $18,597 on renovating their bedroom and showed resilience by continuing on the show despite nearly quitting earlier in the season.
Marty stated, “That’s the house with a unique charm to it, and they really make the style stand out.
‘These guys are allowing the buyer to enjoy the full space which is really unique’.
The pair came close to victory, tailing the two leads by just half a point with a score of 27.5.
