Cillian Murphy, Aimee Lou Wood, Bryan Cranston, Hannah Waddingham, Glenn Close, and Michael B. Jordan are just some of the stars who will be presenting at the EE BAFTA Film Awards this week. However, they’ve been upstaged by a surprising new presenter!
BAFTA has announced that Paddington Bear himself will be appearing at this year’s awards ceremony to give out the award for Best Children’s & Family Film. The films nominated for this award are Arco, Boong, Lilo & Stitch, and Zootropolis 2. But even though only one film will win, seeing Paddington on stage is a treat for everyone!
The popular musical Paddington: The Musical is delighting audiences in London’s West End, and tickets are currently available through ATG Tickets, TodayTix, and LoveTheatre. You can book tickets to see the show now through February 14, 2027.

In addition to Paddington Bear, Karen Gillan will also be a presenter at the BAFTAs. We don’t yet know which award she’ll be handing out, or who she’ll be joining on stage to do so, just like with the other presenters announced so far.
We’re really hoping Cillian Murphy and Paddington might appear together, but it’s likely just wishful thinking.

Alan Cumming will host this year’s EE BAFTA Film Awards, succeeding David Tennant who hosted for the past two years. Tune in to BBC One and iPlayer on Sunday, February 22nd at 7pm to watch.
Jae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, the vocalists behind the characters in KPop Demon Hunters, will perform their song ‘Golden’ at the ceremony. This will be their first time performing outside of the United States. Additionally, Jessie Ware will perform a cover of a classic song by Barbra Streisand during the In Memoriam segment.
This year, BAFTA will recognize Dame Donna Langley with its highest honor, the Fellowship, and Clare Binns with the Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award.
The EE British Academy Film Awards will be held on Sunday, February 22nd. You can watch them on BBC One and BBC iPlayer starting at 7pm.
The latest issue of Living Legends, a vibrant, full-color 100-page tribute to Taylor Swift, is now available! You can purchase it at newsstands or online for only £8.99.
