Summary
Parmigiani Fleurier has released the Tonda PF Platinum Trilogy, a collection of three exclusive watches: the GMT Rattrapante, Minute Rattrapante, and Chronographe Mystérieux. Each model is crafted from 950 platinum, including the bracelet, and limited to just 30 pieces worldwide.
To mark its 30th anniversary in July 2026, Parmigiani Fleurier is releasing the Tonda PF “World Firsts” Platinum Trilogy – a special collection featuring three innovative watch designs. Limited to just 30 of each model, this exclusive set includes the Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante, the Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante, and a completely new creation: the Tonda PF Chronographe Mystérieux.
The Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante offers a fresh take on tracking multiple time zones by focusing on a clean dial design. Rather than always showing a second time zone, it uses a rose gold hour hand that appears only when needed with the push of a button. When you’re done checking the home time, another press of the button—integrated into the crown and labeled ‘Back Home’—hides the hand neatly under the regular hour hand, leaving a simple two-hand display. This smooth function is powered by the automatic PF051 movement, which features a beautiful 22-carat rose gold micro-rotor with a distinctive textured pattern called Grain d’Orge.
The Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante redefines how we measure short intervals, using intricate mechanics for a unique experience. When needed, a rose gold minute hand appears to track a specific time, working alongside the main rhodium-plated hand. Once the time is up, this extra hand disappears seamlessly behind the primary hand, maintaining the clean look of the sandblasted platinum dial. Powered by the incredibly thin Calibre PF052 – composed of 271 parts and offering a 48-hour power reserve – this watch embodies Parmigiani Fleurier’s commitment to subtle, functional luxury.
The Tonda PF Chronographe Mystérieux completes a remarkable collection and introduces a completely new way to build a chronograph watch. Unlike traditional chronographs with multiple dials, this watch looks like a simple three-hand timepiece when not in use. When activated, five hands appear from the center of the dial to display elapsed time – hours, minutes, and seconds. This innovative design is powered by the new PF053 automatic movement, which features a complex system of three clutches and 362 parts, allowing the timing indicators to emerge directly from the dial’s core before seamlessly disappearing for a clean look.
