He shares his discomfort from the biting cold winds, even amidst the stunning panorama. Interestingly, he hints that Osbryht, the blacksmith, may have a way to alleviate this issue.

Get the Recipe From Osbryht

Lower your gaze and converse with Osbryht at the fortress. Upon inquiring about a warm coat, he instantly recognizes it’s intended for Dan. Despite past disputes, Osbryht pardons him and consents to aid Dan. However, instead of giving you the actual warm coat, he offers you the instructions to craft it yourself. This action opens up a fresh recipe for making a Warm Coat, which offers an extra Optimal Dash capability.

Craft a Warm Coat and Give It to Keeper Dan

After retrieving the recipe from Osbryht, approach the Grindstone close by. Navigate to the Crafting section to create a Warm Coat for Dan. But remember, 2 pieces of Leather and 2 Wolf Pelts are needed for its production. You can buy the Leather from Osbryht, but Wolf Pelts only drop after slaying wolves. Once you gather all necessary items, craft the Warm Coat and deliver it to Keeper Dan. He expresses his gratitude and shares a clue about an intriguing location near the seashore, completing The Warmest Coat quest.
