As a gamer, I’d say, “The weapon I’m suggesting is the Poisoned Knight’s Greatsword. This bad boy is a two-hander that packs a punch! It’s got an awesome trait that boosts your critical hit chances by 5%. To make it even more powerful, pair it with Starborn Egg weapon relics. These babies increase your weapon damage by an impressive 10%. Equip them in both slots, and you’re looking at a massive 20% boost to its already formidable base damage. Oh, and don’t forget to carry a backup ranged bow for those quests where you need to take down some targets from afar.

Best Armor, Totem, and Rings

For the armor set, we recommend using the following:

  • Helmet: Volker Berserker’s Helmet. You’ll find this helmet in the Horns of the South, near the All-Mother’s Temple. Pair this helmet with the Volker’s Berserker’s Totem. This totem increases critical chance by 20 percent, stacking well with the weapon you use.
  • Gloves: Knight’s Gauntlet. You’ll get these gloves as a drop from enemies. These gauntlets increase max stamina by +7, giving you much-needed extra stamina to swing the two-handed weapon.
  • Chest: Volker Berserker’s Armor. You’ll find this armor alongside the helmet. With 15 armor, this piece has one of the best stats in the game. Pair this piece with the Colm’s Finger Necklace Totem, which increases crit chance by 5 percent.
  • Rings: The first ring is the Oldsteel Ring, which increases max health and stamina by 3 percent. For the second, we recommend the Perfect Ring For A Warrior, which increases physical damage by 5 percent.
  • Pants: Knight’s Greaves. These greaves increase your max stamina by +7. You’ll get these as a drop from the knights in the Abandoned Stronghold.
  • Boots: Knight’s Armor Boots. These boots increase max stamina by +5.
  • Relics: For armor relics, the first we recommend is Unfading Ember. This relic ignites enemies if they hit you. The second is the Eternal Guardian Seal. This relic increases your max health by +3.

Best Attributes

When it comes to investing in stats for optimal gameplay, prioritize Strength, Endurance, and Perception. Having a strong Strength is crucial if you aspire to wield the Poisoned Knight’s Greatsword effectively. For each point you allocate to this stat, your stamina increases by 3 points, while also granting a 1% enhancement to melee damage. Aim for around 15 points in Strength to maximize your character build.

By putting resources into Endurance, you can boost your maximum health, carrying capacity, and speed at which stamina recovers. It’s crucial for this, as it significantly affects your ability to handle heavier weapons without limitations in terms of use.

To sum up, consider allocating resources towards enhancing your Perception ability. This factor significantly influences both your critical damage and critical hit rate. With our suggested combination of Relics and Totems, having a strong Perception can lead to frequent instances where you eliminate enemies with a single strike.

Skills You Should Use

As far as the skills are concerned, we recommend getting the following:

  • Godly Physique (Strength/General): Increase melee damage by 25 percent.
  • Executioner (Strength/General): Staggered enemies take 60 percent more damage.
  • Weapons of Great Heft (Strength/General): Increase physical damage by 2 percent for each point of the weapon’s weight.
  • Brutish Fighter (Strength/Two-Handed): Attacks with two-handed weapons are stronger by 20 percent.
  • Enduring Strikes (Strength/Two-Handed): Two-handed attacks have 4 percent Lifesteal.
  • Increased Vitality (Endurance/General): Increases max health by 10 percent.
  • Carnage (Endurance/General): Each enemy killed increases damage by 5 percent, up to 50.
  • Agility (Dexterity/General): Dash costs 60 percent less stamina.
  • Extra Lucky (Perception/General): Increases critical chance by 6 percent.
