In addition to its captivating central plot, Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon offers a multitude of optional missions linked to diverse characters scattered across the kingdom. While certain tasks demand travel to distant places, others, like the quest for Mom’s Finest Pie, necessitate cooking specific recipes.
In the instance of Aberrant Minds, you’ll encounter three distinct foes as part of a side mission. This adventure centers around gathering samples for researcher Alma. Follow our walkthrough to learn how to initiate and finish the Aberrant Minds side quest in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.
How To Complete Aberrant Minds in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon
Speak to Alma
To kick off your adventure, head to Phaidros’ Lab within Cuanacht where you’ll find Alma, a researcher. In your chat with her, she will share that she needs certain specimens for her studies and requests your assistance in locating them. As such, your task is to secure the brains of three unique creatures: Nuckelavee, a being infected with the Red Death, and a villager who has been affected by Wyrdness.
Collect the Three Creature Brains
The creatures you’re looking for are distributed throughout Cuanacht, but don’t worry! Your tracking system will lead you straight to them. For your convenience, we’ve marked the positions of all three beasts. You can encounter the Nuckelavee at the Forest Gate in the southwest corner, and the Red Death Infected out on the Plains. Keep an eye on your quest marker to find the Wyrd-Touched Peasant near the ruins. Once you’ve defeated these creatures, collect their brains as your reward.
Give the Brains to Alma
As a fan, I find myself in Phaidros’ Lab after gathering the brains. There, I come across Alma, who is standing near an intriguing creature within her lab. I approach Alma and hand over the creatures’ brains to finish the Aberrant Minds quest. Before concluding this mission, she readies me for another adventure. Upon completing this quest, a new one called Misgivings unfolds.
