Tove Lo turned heads at the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Wuthering Heights‘ on Wednesday with a revealing outfit.
The 38-year-old Swedish singer, known as Tove Nilsson, confidently posed for photographers before the event in a see-through white lace dress and a minimal white thong, choosing to go without a bra.
The dress had a halter top, a low back that tied, and a flowing, ruffled skirt.
Tove chose a striking outfit and kept the rest of her look simple, adding height with black knee-high boots.
For the event, the singer, known for her song ‘Habits,’ wore her brown hair in relaxed waves and kept her makeup simple, letting her natural features stand out.
Wuthering Heights is set to be released in theatres just before Valentine’s Day on February 13.
Similar to a classic Bronte novel, the film directed by Fennell – and set on the Yorkshire moors – tells the story of the passionate and damaging connection between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw, according to IMDb.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m already buzzing about the new romance drama starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi! They’re playing the iconic lovers Catherine and Heathcliff, and it’s exciting to see Margot not only in front of the camera, but also producing the film through her company, LuckyChap Entertainment. It’s a project I think many will adore.
Tove recently wore a daring outfit to a movie premiere, following a provocative performance at the Pride in the Park Festival in Los Angeles where she appeared alongside Fletcher and briefly exposed her breasts.
In 2016, she once again referenced the human body with a striking sheer dress printed with images of the female reproductive system.
After the event, she explained the dress’s pattern, describing it as depicting female genitalia – ‘a vagina, or a py, whatever you want to call it.’ She added that, coming from Sweden, she’s used to a culture with very little censorship and believes in being direct about things.
My stylist, Crap Diem – that’s what he goes by – offered to design a dress for me, and I immediately said yes, no matter what he came up with.
This follows Tove Lo’s recent explanation of how to say her name correctly, something she’s had to address repeatedly throughout her career due to mispronunciations.
The songwriter surprised her fans by sharing something on Instagram – she explained the proper pronunciation of a word, and many were shocked to learn they’d been saying it wrong.
The musician looked stunning in a brief video, wearing a revealing purple top and bright pink eyeshadow before taking the stage.
Tove, the Grammy-nominated singer famous for her 2014 hit “Habits,” recently explained how to say her name correctly. She clarified that the Swedish pronunciation is “Tove Lo,” with both parts emphasized.
Okay, so basically, my whole world revolves around Tove Lo now. It’s not just liking her music, it’s a complete obsession! I’ve even started calling it my ‘Voulez Vous, Tove Lo’ phase – like, everything I do, I think, ‘Does this scream Tove Lo?’ Seriously, I say ‘Voulez Vous, Tove Lo’ to myself constantly. It’s ‘Voulez Vous, Tove Lo’ this, ‘Voulez Vous, Tove Lo’ that… it’s just everything!
Well, that’s settled. But I’ll still respond to Tove Lo. Sometimes I just want to be clear about what I mean, you know?
She added: ‘But you know, keep the discussions going, it’s interesting.’
