‘Summer House’ stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirm their relationship

Amanda Batula and West Wilson weren’t being coy — not “purposely” anyway.

On the Bravo reality show “Summer House,” which follows a group of friends’ summer adventures (and plenty of drama) in the Hamptons, a romance was brewing. Now, the couple has confirmed their relationship.

The couple posted statements to their Instagram stories explaining they wanted to address rumors about their relationship.

We never meant to keep anything secret. Because our relationship is complicated and everything we do is under public observation from the show, we needed some time to sort things out privately. We’ve been friends for a long time, supporting each other through everything, and this recent development was a complete surprise to both of us.

Over the course of the series, which debuted in 2017, relationships have become intertwined.

Wilson dated fellow “Summer House” co-star Ciara Miller, a close friend of Batula, in 2023.

Amanda Batula was married to Kyle Cooke, her co-star on “Summer House.” She announced their separation in January, sharing on Instagram that they had decided to split up amicably. The couple tied the knot in 2021, and their relationship, including Cooke’s infidelity in 2019 and an incident in 2025 where he spent the night at a fan’s home, was featured on the show.

The couple said they delayed announcing their relationship because they wanted time to figure out their feelings for each other.

We’ve been close friends for a long time, so it was really important to us to handle things thoughtfully. We understand this situation affects others, and we never intended to cause pain or seem insensitive.

Wilson had previously described Batula as simply a close friend during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.”

Wilson said they were just spending time together in New York City and he was showing her around. He also made it clear that she’s a very important person to him and that he cares for her deeply.

During a March appearance on “Watch What Happens,” Cooke dismissed rumors linking Batula and Wilson as completely false and without any truth. Despite denying the rumors, he still expressed his support for Batula.

I’d be pretty surprised and maybe a little worried, honestly. I doubt anyone would expect me to support it. But if it would make Amanda happy, I’d have to say yes.
