Bitcoin treasury juggernaut Strategy has splurged another $2.54 billion to acquire 34,164 BTC.
A business intelligence company based in Virginia recently made one of the biggest cryptocurrency purchases ever by a corporation.
From April 13th to 19th, the company invested $2.54 billion to increase its Bitcoin holdings. The average price paid for each Bitcoin was $74,395.
Strategy has been utilizing its existing program to sell stock gradually on the market. This resulted in the sale of almost 21.8 million shares of its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock, generating roughly $2.17 billion in net funds.
The company also sold 2.16 million shares of its common stock, raising an extra $366 million.
The company now holds an eye-popping 815,061 BTC following the latest purchase.
Strategy has spent an aggregate total of $61.56 billion to amass this hoard.
The price of Bitcoin (BTC) is currently changing hands at $75,525.
