Stranger Things star joins The Boys season 5
As a die-hard fan of both Stranger Things and The Boys, I can hardly contain my excitement at Mason Dye’s new role in The Boys! With his impressive acting background that spans from Jason Carver to Garrett in Teen Wolf, this guy is no stranger to the small screen.

The talented Mason Dye, best known for his role in Stranger Things, is expanding his horizons and joining the cast of another hit series – The Boys! In the upcoming fifth season of Amazon’s superhero series, the actor known for portraying Jason Carver in Netflix’s show will make a guest appearance, taking on the role of Bombsight, according to Variety’s reports.
During the fourth season of The Boys, a character named Bombsight was hinted at, with whispers suggesting that he was featured in a movie produced by Vought International in the 1950s. However, no concrete details about his personality have been revealed yet.
Apart from his character on “Stranger Things”, Dye has also portrayed Garrett in four episodes of “Teen Wolf” (back in 2014). Moreover, the actor has had recurring roles in series like “Finding Carter”, “The Goldbergs”, and “Bosch”.
Although it may still be some time before Bombsight appears on “The Boys”, actress Valorie Curry (playing Firecracker) has shared her aspirations for the fifth and final season of the gruesome series. She expressed a desire for her character to meet a violent demise.
She expressed that she wishes harm on this individual due to their reprehensible behavior. ‘Terrible,’ she called them, adding that she hopes they meet their end, but not through medication as it seems too simplistic. Instead, she suggested that Sage might be the one to bring about their demise, and that a spin-off series could follow their survival.
Although it’s unclear if Firecracker will participate in a spin-off, the world of The Boys is preparing to grow after the end of the primary series, with Vought Rising – a prequel centered around Soldier Boy and Stormfront – having been recently revealed.
Executive producers Paul Grellong and Eric Kripke are thrilled to announce the upcoming sequel, another intriguing chapter in the world of ‘The Boys.’ It’s a dark, captivating tale that delves into the mysterious past of Vought in the 1950s and explores the early adventures of Soldier Boy.
Additionally, it reveals the cunning strategies of a character named Clara Vought, who is infamously recognized as Stormfront by fans. Prepare yourself for a gripping, disturbing tale filled with scandal, gore, and heavy doses of Compound V.
