A select group of Stranger Things fans will get to see the first two episodes of the new spin-off, Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, on the big screen in theaters.
Next month, Netflix will release Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, a new animated show. It takes place between seasons two and three of Stranger Things, and was created by showrunner Eric Robles along with the original series’ creators, Matt and Ross Duffer.
When is the Stranger Things spin-off show coming to theaters?
Netflix is giving fans a special treat: the first two episodes of Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 will be shown in select theaters before they become available on Netflix.
On April 18, 2026, a special event will be held at noon and 3 p.m. local time at 34 AMC Theatres nationwide. The event will also include showings at New York’s Paris Theater and Netflix House Philadelphia.
Tickets become available on Wednesday, March 19th, at 8 a.m. Pacific Time and 11 a.m. Eastern Time. It’s 1985, and life in Hawkins seems to be returning to normal for Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max.
