Stephen Graham lands next movie role
As a seasoned gamer and movie enthusiast who’s been through countless cinematic journeys, I can confidently say that the casting of Stephen Graham as Douglas Springsteen (Dutch) in Jeremy Allen White’s Bruce Springsteen movie is nothing short of brilliant!
Stephen Graham will be starring in an upcoming film, which is Jeremy Allen White’s Bruce Springsteen movie.
Acting powerhouse who has been seen on “This is England” and “Peaky Blinders” will portray Douglas (Springsteen’s father, also called Dutch) in the upcoming film titled “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” according to Variety.
The movie will detail the musician’s journey in producing his 1982 album “Nebraska,” an emotionally charged, minimalist, and gritty piece where he defied the commercial triumph of hits such as ‘Born to Run’.
In addition to Paul Walter Hauser from “Cruella,” Jeremy Strong from “Succession,” and Odessa Young from “Mothering Sunday,” are also part of the cast. Production is scheduled to start by the end of this year.
Jeremy is scheduled to perform Bruce Springsteen’s music (and indeed, he’ll be vocalizing) and collaborate with both The Boss and his manager Jon Landau on a film project. However, as of June when he last discussed it, they hadn’t had an opportunity to meet yet.
He mentioned that we’ve exchanged a few words through others, but he’s hoping everything will work out smoothly.
There are still a few details left to sort out regarding timing, and I prefer to go through my own thought process about this matter before our meeting. I’d like to have a clear idea, so that when we meet, I can feel somewhat assured, carrying that confidence within me.
Currently, Stephen’s schedule is filled with numerous upcoming ventures, such as the World War II drama titled “Blitz“, set to debut in a couple of weeks at the London Film Festival.
There’s also the illegal boxing series A Thousand Blows, which is set to hit Disney+ next year.
