“Standout” mystery thriller that ‘hooks from the start’ gets surprise season 3 update

Fans of the show Paradise were surprised to learn that production on the next season is already underway, just over a week after the season 2 finale became available on Disney+ and Hulu on March 30th. Viewers won’t have to wait long to discover what happens after the characters were forced to evacuate.

Dan Fogelman shared a behind-the-scenes look on Instagram from the set of the show. The photo gives fans a first glimpse of Sterling K. Brown as Xavier and Enuka Okuma as his wife, Teri, in the upcoming third season. Viewers previously thought Teri had died in season one, but Enuka Okuma became a regular cast member in season two.

Fogelman captioned the photo with a simple “S3. Let’s go,” immediately sparking excitement among fans about the show’s fast return to production.

The popular new series, created by Dan Fogelman, is set in a Colorado town built around a bunker. It’s set three years after a mysterious global disaster.

Xavier Collins is the Secret Service agent in charge of protecting President Cal Bradford (played by James Marsden). When the President is found dead at the start of the first season, Xavier dedicates himself to uncovering what really happened, and the investigation quickly reveals more questions than answers.
