In the latest episode of “We Swear This Is Serious,” Coinbase (COIN) and the crypto-friendly bank Standard Chartered (STAN) announced they’re expanding their partnership to include everything from trading to custody, staking, lending, and all the fun stuff that makes crypto nerds giggle like children on Christmas morning.

Think of it as a high-stakes dance where Singapore is the dancefloor, and these two are adding new fancy moves. The existing Singapore connection means Coinbase can now transfer Singapore dollars faster than you can say “blockchain,” thanks to Standard Chartered’s banking fairy dust.

Coinbase seems to be winning hearts (and institutional trust) slowly but surely-think of it as the cool kid in the crypto playground. Even JPMorgan got in on the act, bringing its JPM Coin to Base, their shiny layer-2 blockchain. Because if you’re not impressed yet, there’s always hype.
