Stacey Solomon returned to filming for her family’s reality show on Wednesday, and she was still wearing her wedding ring.
BBC personality Stacey Dooley, 36, was filming for her show ‘Stacey & Joe’ at Scotts Tulip Farm in Brentwood, which is very close to her house, Pickle Cottage, valued at £1.2 million.
Stacey Solomon was all smiles on set, chatting animatedly with her close friend Emma Parr. Her husband, Joe Swash, 44, wasn’t present during the filming.
Production on the third season of the hit BBC show has just restarted after personal issues caused significant delays to the filming schedule.
According to the Daily Mail, filming was scheduled to begin in December, but disagreements and difficulties arose on set at Pickle Cottage. A source reported that ‘there have been issues between Stacey and Joe.’
Joe and Stacey, well-known to BBC viewers from their popular show Sort Your Life Out, are expanding their brand with a reality TV series. They’ve already completed filming for two seasons.
The BBC confirmed last week that a third season is happening, and will continue to document the everyday lives of the couple and their blended family.
The show documents the daily lives of Stacey and Joe Solomon and their family at their home, Pickle Cottage. They are parents to six-year-old Rex, four-year-old Rose, and three-year-old Belle. Stacey also has two older sons, Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 13, from previous relationships, and Joe has a son named Harry, born in 2007.
Season two, with six episodes, followed Belle’s first day at nursery school, Zach turning seventeen, and a family ski trip.
The new season is expected to center around Joe working on creating a fishing lake on his family’s large country estate.
The first two seasons each had six episodes, but the upcoming third season will be shorter, with only three episodes – likely a result of the recent issues with the show’s production.
The show has been renewed after Stacey and her husband recently had to address rumors about their marriage and defend their relationship.
I was so excited for Stacey and Joe when they got married back in 2022 – their celebration at their beautiful home was incredible, and they had so many famous faces there with them! But I was shocked to recently learn that, apparently, their wedding wasn’t actually legal. It’s just so sad to hear after everything seemed so perfect.
Stacey announced they intended to get married, but after three and a half years together, the popular TV couple haven’t yet tied the knot.
This surprising news follows reports from just two weeks ago that the TV star was asked about her relationship with Joe after she was seen without her wedding ring.
According to a source, they always planned to handle the legal aspects of things, but with six children and hectic schedules, they simply haven’t had the time. Life just got in the way.
‘Stacey and Joe obviously knew that their garden wedding wasn’t legal and were upfront about that.’
The news might come as a surprise to fans, who watched the couple on their BBC reality show.
Stacey also has lucrative family fashion ranges with Asda and Primark.
According to a source, the fact that the seemingly flawless image was actually fake will likely shock both companies and television executives who invested in it.
