Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer Release Date Officially Confirmed By Tom Holland

The Marvel Cinematic Universe audience will soon finally be rewarded for their patience.

The first trailer for the upcoming movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, is about to be released! Tom Holland revealed on Instagram that Sony is letting fans share snippets of the trailer online starting today, before the full trailer drops tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18th.

Tom Holland will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time since his Peter Parker’s appearance in the 2021 film Spider-Man: No Way Home, which was part of Phase 4. The new movie, a Phase 6 installment, was directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who also directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and is currently working on Wonder Man.

Now that the trailer is coming out, we’ll finally learn more about the story behind the new Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie. Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have been very secretive about the details. One of the biggest questions fans have is about Sadie Sink’s character – there’s a lot of speculation about who she’ll be playing.

The next Spider-Man movie will connect to the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe, bringing in established heroes like the Punisher (played by Jon Bernthal) and the Hulk (played by Mark Ruffalo). This will be the first time the Punisher appears in an MCU film.

The upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie will introduce new characters, like Tombstone, played by Marvin Jones III. This will be the last solo superhero film from Marvel Studios before the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars events.

Live-action Spider-Man is set to have a major year, with Sony releasing the eagerly awaited Spider-Noir series in May. The exciting news is Nicolas Cage will be returning to the Marvel universe, but he won’t be playing Peter Parker; instead, he’ll portray Ben Reilly as the Spider-Man character.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in theaters on July 31.
