Spider-Man 4 Photo Reveals Jackie Chan’s Presence on MCU Set

A new Spider-Man 4 photo shows Jackie Chan on the set of the MCU movie.

Spider-Man 4, also called Spider-Man: Brand New Day, will be in US theaters this summer. Destin Daniel Cretton, who directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, is directing the film, and Tom Holland will return as Peter Parker/Spider-Man from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A photo shared on Twitter by Spider-Man News shows Jackie Chan – a famous action star and martial artist known for films like Drunken Master, Police Story, and Rumble in the Bronx – with his stunt team on the set of the upcoming Spider-Man 4, which is currently using the working title Brand New Day. Chan’s team previously collaborated with director Destin Daniel Cretton on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, suggesting the new Spider-Man movie will feature impressive action sequences.

Alongside Tom Holland, the movie features Zendaya as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Michael Mando as the Scorpion, and Marvin Jones III as Tombstone. Sadie Sink (from Stranger Things), Liza Colón-Zayas (from The Bear), and Trammel Tillman (from Severance) will also appear in currently unrevealed roles.

The next Spider-Man movie is scheduled to come out in US cinemas on July 31, 2026, as part of the sixth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After that, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ will be released on December 18, 2026, and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ on December 17, 2027. It’s currently unknown whether Tom Holland will appear in either of those Avengers films.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, meanwhile, is currently available to stream on Disney+.
