Lots of stars attended the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2026, which took place at The Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday.
Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing, who hosted the red carpet event, were among the first to arrive and have their photos taken.
Sophie, a 31-year-old mother, looked amazing in a black lace dress only three months after welcoming her son, Ziggy.
Jamie, 37, looked handsome in a black suit and white shirt, and affectionately put his arm around his beautiful wife.
Radio personality Clara Amfo looked stunning in a beautiful gold dress that highlighted her figure.
On Sunday evening, the Royal Festival Hall at the Southbank Centre will host a glamorous event showcasing the best new films.
Alan Cumming will host this year’s awards ceremony, celebrating the biggest films and welcoming stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Jacob Elordi, and Michael B. Jordan.
Guests arriving on the red carpet will enjoy music from DJ Neev Spencer, who hosts shows on Magic FM. Meanwhile, Clara Amfo and Ali Plumb will be providing live coverage from outside the famous London venue.
I’m so excited about the upcoming show! They’ve lined up an incredible group of guest presenters – Aimee Lou Wood, Alicia Vikander, Cillian Murphy, Ethan Hawke, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Sadie Sink, and even Stormzy! It’s going to be amazing having such talented people involved.
The Royal Festival Hall will host appearances by stars like Kerry Washington, Minnie Driver, Monica Bellucci, Patrick Dempsey, and Regé-Jean Page, as well as many other notable figures.
The evening’s entertainment will feature a variety of performers, including the first-ever performance outside of the US by KPop group Golden from Demon Hunters. The song, “Track,” will be performed by JAE, AUDREYNUNA, and REI AMI, the vocalists of HUNTR/X.
During the In Memoriam segment, British singer Jessie Ware will honor the memory of those we’ve lost with a heartfelt performance of a song by Barbara Streisand.
This year, Dame Donna Langley will receive BAFTA’s highest honor, the Fellowship Award, as one of the Special Award recipients.
The head of NBCUniversal Entertainment, a British executive, will be honored for her long and successful career. She’s widely considered one of the most important and admired leaders in the entertainment world.
Clare Binns, Creative Director at Picture House Cinemas, will also receive the BAFTA Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema award.
Honestly, it’s about time! This award totally gets it – she’s the reason we’re seeing such amazing, different films in cinemas all over the UK. She doesn’t just support movies, she fights for the ones that are truly unique and aren’t afraid to be themselves. I’m so thrilled she’s getting the recognition she deserves!
Everyone anticipates multiple wins for Paul Thomas Anderson’s new film, which received an impressive fourteen nominations this year.
However, it’s up against strong contenders, including the horror film Sinners, which received thirteen nominations, and Hamnet, a poignant drama directed by Chloé Zhao about the death of Shakespeare’s son, earning eleven nominations.
Based on Maggie O’Farrell’s acclaimed novel, the film Hamnet – which tells the story of Shakespeare’s family – has received more BAFTA nominations than any other film directed by a woman.
Jessie Buckley, the Irish actress, has received a nomination for her performance in the film, building on the Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award she’s already won, as well as nominations from the Academy Awards and Screen Actors Guild.
Ugh, can you BELIEVE Paul Mescal didn’t get an Oscar nomination?! It was a total injustice! But thank goodness BAFTA recognized his brilliance – he totally deserves the Supporting Actor nod, and I’m already manifesting a win for him. He is amazing, you guys!
Marty and Timothée Chalamet are aiming for continued success after receiving eleven BAFTA nominations – including for Best Film and Best Actor – building on their recent wins at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards.
Both Frankenstein and Sentimental Value received eight nominations. I Swear and Bugonia each garnered five nominations, while The Ballad of Wallis Island, Pillion, and F1 each received three.
The Leading Actress BAFTA nominees include Rose Byrne for her role in ‘If I Had Legs I’d Kick You,’ Kate Hudson in ‘Song Sung Blue,’ Chase Infiniti for ‘One Battle After Another,’ Renate Reinsve for ‘Sentimental Value,’ and Emma Stone for ‘Bugonia’.
Leonardo DiCaprio has been nominated for a BAFTA award for the seventh time, and could potentially win his second, for his leading role in the critically acclaimed film, One Battle After Another.
This year’s BAFTA Film Award nominees include first-timers Robert Aramayo, Odessa A’zion, Rose Byrne, Chase Infiniti, Michael B. Jordan, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, Stellan Skarsgård, and Teyana Taylor.
Oh my gosh, I’m still buzzing! Emma Baehr, who’s in charge of everything amazing at the BAFTAs, said they’re SO thrilled to have all these incredible nominees coming to London! She said it’s going to be a totally vibrant celebration of all the hard work, creativity, and teamwork that goes into making British and international films – and honestly, it’s everything I’ve been waiting for! I just know it’s going to be magical.
We’re thrilled to have such a fantastic group of presenters with us, showcasing the best talent in film and the creative arts.
