Viewers of The Hunting Wives should prepare for a dramatic second season, as Brittany Snow hinted that a character will be killed off.

The Netflix series, set in Texas, features Snow as Sophie O’Neil, who gets drawn into the glamorous and exclusive world of socialite Margo (played by Malin Akerman) and her group of friends, known as ‘The Hunting Wives’.

When Sophie develops feelings for Margo, their group becomes entangled in a mystery after a teenage girl is discovered dead in the woods where they hang out.

The TV series based on May Cobb’s book, The Hunting Wives, first aired last July and was quickly renewed for another season in September. According to Snow, the next season promises to be even better than the first.

Each new script feels like a fresh start. Someone told us it would be impossible to outdo last year, but I think we’re actually succeeding,” she shared with Entertainment Tonight.

Rebecca Cutter created the series The Hunting Wives, which features Evan Jonigkeit, Katie Lowes, George Ferrier, Dermot Mulroney, Jaime Ray Newman, and Chrissy Metz in its cast.

I’m so glad everyone is loving this mystery! It’s officially ‘Certified Fresh’ on Rotten Tomatoes with an 80% rating from critics. People are calling it everything from ‘perfect trash’ (The Guardian said that, and I totally agree!) to ‘silly’ and ‘raunchy’ (NPR’s take), but everyone seems to agree it’s just super ’eminently watchable’ (Autostraddle gets it!). I’m hooked!

The Hunting Wives season 1 is streaming on Netflix now. A second season has been confirmed.

The latest issue of Living Legends magazine is now available, and it’s dedicated to the incredible Dolly Parton! You can find “Dolly at 80” in shops or order it online for only £8.99.
