Snowbreak: Containment Zone announces adjustments to Operatives and outfit designs
As a long-time gamer who has seen their fair share of game updates and changes, I must say that the recent developments in Snowbreak: Containment Zone have left me a bit dismayed. While I understand the need for compliance with certain regulations, it’s always a letdown when designs that took hours to plan and develop are removed from the game.
In the futuristic 3D sci-fi role-playing game known as “Snowbreak: Containment Zone”, there are planned modifications to Operatives and their uniforms that will take effect on both Chinese servers and those around the world. These changes will be implemented with the update scheduled for August 30, 2024.
A limited period will be granted to make final outfit purchases in Snowbreak: Containment Zone
The changes involve permanently taking off certain “temporary costumes” from the Quartermaster after August 30, 2024. But, during a short span from August 27 to August 30, 2024, you can still make your last purchases. Furthermore, both Normal and Ultimate Battle Pass will no longer have “limited-use costumes” after this removal.
If you’ve already bought the existing Advanced or Ultimate Stellar Pass prior to the specified date, you’ll find the exclusive outfits related to your pass within a special section of the Quartermaster for a limited period. Important Note: Once you’ve purchased the “Enya Kiss Be the Remedy” ensemble, you will not have the option to buy the matching interactive scene called “Tender Cure“.
Now, stopping the sale from the makers won’t affect your ownership or use of the outfits if you’ve already bought them, and it also won’t impact any related covers or avatars you unlocked. As I mentioned earlier, some outfits’ appearances will change. During the same day as select outfit removal, the below characters will be getting a new look for their outfits.

Here are some adjustments we’ve planned for you post-update. You’ll have the opportunity to acquire an avatar and sticker set showcasing Fenny – Lion Dance. If you previously bought any time-limited outfits from the Quartermaster or battle pass skins/costumes before the update, you will receive the Fritia – Little Sunshine Leafy Secret skin for free as a bonus.
Snowbreak: Containment Zone recently got its new art rejected by Google Play
If there’s any confusion from the announcement, let me clarify: The game, Snowbreak: Containment Zone, has faced censorship. Despite maintaining uniformity across global and Chinese servers, the Chinese server’s stringent censorship policies required removal of certain skin content deemed inappropriate. Additionally, an update was postponed due to a similar issue with Google Play rejecting it.
Yesterday’s update may have piqued your interest. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were compelled to make certain modifications, and we appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

The creator of the game shared an update on X concerning the current situation, but has promised fans that further improvements won’t be eliminated due to “fanservice.” However, discarding designs created after extensive planning and development is a substantial letdown.
