The South Korean action series Bloodhounds is currently popular on Netflix after the premiere of its second season. Its exciting fight scenes and gripping story explain why the show is gaining so much attention.
This show is adapted from the webtoon of the same name and centers on a boxer, portrayed by Woo Do-hwan, who joins forces with a moneylender to take down a group of illegal loan sharks.
The series, which was first released to positive reviews in 2023, returned to Netflix earlier this month with a new season. Viewership numbers suggest the second season is also proving very popular with audiences.

Okay, so I was checking FlixPatrol, and this action drama I’m watching is doing really well! It’s currently number two worldwide on the streaming service, only behind XO, Kitty. Here in the UK, it’s still hanging in the top 10, which is pretty awesome considering it only came out six days ago. I’m glad it’s getting some love!
The TV show Bloodhounds has received a lot of positive feedback. Currently, 89% of critics on Rotten Tomatoes have given the first season their approval. While only two reviews are in for the second season so far, both have been positive.

Season 2 of Bloodhounds is a thrilling, quick-paced ride, but according to But Why Tho?, it doesn’t quite reach the same level of tension or importance as the first season.
Digital Mafia Talkies also highlighted the excellent boxing choreography and immersive filming style, saying it truly felt like being inside the ring and was incredibly captivating.
I’ve been checking out the IMDb ratings for this series, and wow, it’s got an 8.1 out of 10 from over 25,000 people! One viewer put it perfectly – they said it was a total rollercoaster, and the story and characters just grab you right away. It’s so exciting and positive, they couldn’t look away! Honestly, that sums up how I feel about it too.

One user called the series “simply perfect,” adding that there was absolutely nothing they would change, as it would disrupt the story’s excellent plot.
Another viewer highly praised the action drama, calling it an excellent series with well-developed characters and fantastic action. They particularly loved the main characters, both the heroes and the villain.
Bloodhounds is streaming on Netflix.
