Simone Holtznagel takes another swipe at her ex Jono Castano as she speaks about their split for the first time: 'You can't change people'

As a die-hard fan of Simone Holtznagel, I have been following her journey since her days as a model, and witnessing her growth into motherhood has been nothing short of inspiring. Her recent interview with Stellar Magazine sheds light on the trials and tribulations she faced in her relationship, ultimately leading to her decision to raise their baby girl, Gia, as a single mother.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I find myself in the unique position to share insights from my personal journey – and today, I’d like to discuss an aspect that has recently caught my attention. Reflecting upon certain episodes of my past, I’ve chosen to address for the first time the challenging relationship I had with my former partner, Jono Castano. In a bid to move forward with honesty and clarity, I felt it was essential to shed light on our acrimonious separation.

31-year-old model, currently singlehandedly rearing their baby girl, expressed to Stellar Magazine that she was unable to alter her feelings for the man she believed she adored.

She mentioned that she felt compelled to establish a good example for her daughter, and that was what sparked a change within her. One moment, she found herself questioning, “Is this appropriate? No, it isn’t.” She expressed deep regret at the thought of her daughter ever finding herself in such a situation.

Ultimately, it’s crucial to prioritize your own well-being. Regardless of the pledges others may give or any other enticements, if someone reveals their true nature to you, trust that revelation. Remember, people cannot be changed from within.

Simone expressed satisfaction with the fact that she’s singlehandedly caring for her five-month-old daughter, Gia, and has faith in the decision she made to do so independently.

She expressed, “I’ve never been this confident about anything before, and I genuinely believe I can handle it on my own. It’s disappointing that I have to do it alone most of the time, but I truly can’t envision any other alternative.”

Simone expressed, “Everything I’m engaged in seems incredibly fitting for me. My top priority is ensuring that Gia is content and healthy, and that I am joyful as well.”

‘I strongly think that when the mother isn’t content, it can make it challenging for the child to be happy. And right now, Gia seems to embody my own joy and peace, as she’s just such a delightful and cheerful baby.’

Simone and celebrity personal trainer Jono, 33, welcomed Gia on Easter Sunday.

In May, it was confirmed that Jono and Simone had chosen to part ways, with this decision being made in the same month as baby Gia’s birth – only nine weeks later.

In his statement to Daily Mail Australia at that time, he expressed, ‘We’re not sure what the future may bring, but right now, we aim to be the best parents for Gia.’

For a while now, it had been clear that the end of Simone and Jono’s relationship was imminent, as one of their close friends later disclosed.

According to a source, multiple close associates of Simone expressed concerns to her that her model lifestyle might conflict with Jono’s profession as a fitness influencer.

Trouble started showing when Jon, on March 31, the day Gia was born, shared photos of his lavish vacation in Thailand, instead of being with Simone and their newborn.

Despite numerous fans of Jono expressing enthusiasm for the photos, Simone chose not to like or comment on them.

In an interview with Women’s Health, Simone discussed the pros and cons of raising a child independently, even though she appears to share parental responsibilities with Jono.

In a seemingly deliberate omission, Simone, without commenting on the recent separation, also chose not to acknowledge Jono when expressing gratitude towards those who stood by her.

When asked about an unexpected part of being a mother, Simone revealed: ‘On the positive side, I’ve discovered I can handle things on my own. On the negative side, I find myself having to manage everything by myself.’

I’m incredibly fortunate because my loved ones have truly gone out of their way for me. It makes the hard times seem less daunting knowing they are there beside me.

Regarding motherhood’s difficulties, Simone characterized raising her child Gia as a ‘pure delight,’ and confessed that it hasn’t turned out to be as challenging as anticipated.

She shared, “Each day, I remind myself, ‘Today is the last time she’ll be this small,’ which makes it easier for me to appreciate even the tiniest or most challenging moments.”

Her remarks came in a candid Q&A to promote her new campaign with Nala called Sorry To Offend You, which aims to break the stigma around public breastfeeding.

This week, Jono expressed his backing for her political campaign, seemingly aiming to reconcile with his ex-girlfriend, following the announcement of their breakup in July.

The Acero gym owner left a sentimental comment beneath a post about her promotional on Instagram, showing SImone breastfeeding their daughter Gia.

‘This is so good well done nuffle,’ he wrote, seemingly using his pet name for her.

His gushing remark came days after he was seen leaving flowers at the ‘postpartum hotel’ where Simone was staying at with their newborn Gia in an apparent bid to win her back.

After the announcement of her separation from Jono became public knowledge last month, Simone has now chosen to step back into the spotlight with her new political campaign.
