To begin the side quest titled “Nature vs Nurture”, first locate Dolina and Masco Laima within Emerald Stair. The nearest fast travel spot to them is Farmer’s Market Beacon. After arriving at this beacon, proceed along the eastern path.

Keep an eye out for a dirt trail on your left. Take it, and you’ll enter Coastal Farm.

Once prepared, ascend the rocky outcrops to activate the Fortified Xaurip Camp Beacon for swift transportation. Upon reaching the summit, you’ll notice a gathering of Xaurips performing dances around a cave referred to as the Fortified Xaurip Camp.

In my perspective, the debate between Nature vs Nurture primarily shapes the moral compass I navigate by and the path my journey takes within this game. The end prizes, however, stay consistent irrespective of the route I choose.

For maximum XP gain, you’ll want to take down Amadio and clear out the entire Xaurip camp.

If You Side With The Hermit

Upon listening to Amadio’s argument, I found myself nodding in agreement. So, when given the chance to respond, I chose, “I’m all for shielding this land, I stand with you.

Later on, it would be essential for you to go back to the farmers and try to persuade them to withdraw the rangers since the threat from Xaurip has allegedly ended. Following your encounter with the healer, it’s crucial to shift your attention towards the Xaurip Rangers and Skirmishers. The battle ahead promises to be grueling, necessitating continual maneuvers to avoid incoming assaults. In this situation, Area of Effect abilities prove exceptionally useful due to the confined space and large number of adversaries, making them highly efficient.

Pay attention to your teammates’ health levels and immediately provide healing when they start to run low. If a teammate is knocked out entirely, it may be tough to revive them because of the persistent attacks by Xaurips. Without someone to divert the enemies’ attention, you won’t have enough time to heal them yourself.

Now that you’ve handled the Xaurips, it’s high time to shift your attention to Amadio. He’s known for launching iceballs that hamper your speed and fireballs that cause burns.

Apart from his other skills, Amadio can summon a bolt of lightning that pushes enemies backward with a brief pause, and the affected zone will be highlighted in red. It’s best to steer clear of this area to prevent significant damage. Upon vanquishing Amadio, you’ll find his exclusive Wolf Boots as loot.

Currently, the once amicable Xaurip encampment is about to become aggressive. If you choose to engage them in battle, you’ll gain extra experience points. Alternatively, you can quickly teleport to Farmer’s Market to finish your ongoing quest.

Notify Dolina and Masco Laima that the Xaurip threat has been successfully eliminated. As a token of appreciation, Dolina will bestow upon you the Amplified Ring of Pain.
