Key Highlights
- SHIB climbs to 31st place and is now only $20 million away from returning to the top 30 cryptocurrencies.
- Investors withdrew 62.1 billion SHIB more from exchanges than they deposited, potentially reducing the amount of tokens immediately available for selling.
- SHIB’s price outlook remains mixed, with a break above $0.00000458 potentially supporting further rally.
As a crypto investor, I’m watching Shiba Inu closely, and it looks like it’s making a comeback! Over the last 24 hours, a huge 62.1 billion SHIB tokens were moved off of major exchanges, which suggests people are holding onto their coins long-term. This could push Shiba Inu back into the top 30 cryptocurrencies soon.
CoinMarketCap data shows this memecoin is now the 31st biggest cryptocurrency globally. Currently, it’s priced at $0.000004253, up roughly 0.78% over the past day.
Trading volume has also decreased to about $42.2 million, and its market value is currently $2.5 billion. It’s now only $20 million behind Tether Gold (XAUt), which ranks 30th in the market.
Shiba Inu fell out of the top 30 cryptocurrencies over two weeks ago as prices dropped across the market. This caused SHIB to move down to 33rd place on CoinMarketCap, and there were worries it might fall even further, potentially dropping below the top 35.
SHIB is gradually bouncing back. It’s climbed from 33rd to 31st place in ranking, and is now only one spot away from re-entering the top 30.
SHIB Records Net Exchange Outfows
Recently, a significant trend has been the shifting of SHIB tokens between exchanges and investor wallets. Data from CryptoQuant shows that over the last day, investors moved 240.8 billion SHIB out of centralized exchanges.
Meanwhile, 176.91 billion SHIB tokens were deposited into cryptocurrency exchanges. Considering both inflows and outflows, this resulted in a net decrease of 62.1 billion SHIB leaving wallets.
Simply put, more SHIB tokens were withdrawn from exchanges than deposited. This is significant because tokens stored on exchanges are typically easier to sell. When investors transfer their tokens to personal wallets, it reduces the amount available for immediate trading.
This doesn’t guarantee all the removed SHIB will be kept indefinitely, but it indicates a significant amount has been taken off of exchange platforms.
As an analyst, I’m keeping a close eye on Shiba Inu’s supply. Currently, exchanges are still holding a significant amount – around 86.2 trillion SHIB – which indicates there’s still a large amount of the token readily available for trading.
Honestly, the real test for SHIB now isn’t just that it’s bounced back a bit – it’s whether it can *keep* going up. It’s climbed in the rankings, which is good, but things still look uncertain if you’re looking at the next few weeks or months.
SHIB’s Recovery Faces Strong Selling Pressure
Shiba Inu’s price chart is also suggesting caution for investors. Since losing its key support level of $0.00000628 in May 2026, SHIB has been steadily declining. The price continues to make lower highs and lower lows, indicating that sellers are currently dominating the market.
SHIB’s price has dropped below $0.0000042, recently trading around $0.00000415, which is near the lowest price it’s been recently.
The price is currently stabilizing between $0.00000458 and $0.00000405, forming a bullish pattern that it has just moved past. If this upward trend continues with strong momentum, it could push SHIB’s price back above $0.00000458.
If this doesn’t happen, the price might drop to between $0.0000032 and $0.0000033 by late July, potentially continuing into August 2026. Starting from its current level of around $0.00000415, this would be a decrease of approximately 20%.
SHIB is currently showing some positive movement in its market position and trading activity, but its price is still unstable. While it’s almost in the top 30 cryptocurrencies, it needs to push past current selling pressure to reach the next significant price milestone.
