So, it turns out that the fabulous folks over at X account @Shibizens have decided to grace us with an update about our beloved Shiba Inu coin. Because nothing says excitement like a data dump about wallet growth, right?
According to their latest report, the number of SHIB holders as of March 25 has reached a staggering 1,558,200. That’s a lot of wallets! Apparently, we’re welcoming between 8,500 and 12,000 new wallets each month. They’re calling it “steady growth,” but I mean, isn’t that just code for “we’re still here”? It’s nice to know that these wallets aren’t just sitting around in sweatpants binge-watching Netflix; they’re “slightly up” and “not idle.”
The Retail Sector: The Gift That Keeps on Giving
In what can only be described as thrilling news, the retail sector is apparently still adding SHIB wallets like they’re collecting Pokémon cards. Sure, why not? The top ten SHIB wallets hold a whopping 62.65% of the circulating supply, with the biggest one being the burn wallet, which contains a jaw-dropping 410,433,152,500,723 SHIB. (I know, my calculator exploded too.) The rest is in the hands of crypto exchanges and those ultra-rich whales who probably drink their coffee with a sprinkle of Bitcoin.

Hold on to your hats, because long-term holders are now making up 78% of the crowd. Who knew loyalty could pay off in meme coins? And guess what? The supply held on exchanges has dropped to about 80.9 trillion SHIB. Maybe these big players are finally deciding to take a break from trading and enjoy the sunshine instead?
Burn, Baby, Burn: SHIB Edition
In other news, the burn rate has shot up faster than a cat meme on social media, soaring by a staggering 633% in just one day! Thanks to some generous soul sending 14,235,163 SHIB to unspendable wallets, our dreams of a less cluttered meme coin landscape might just come true. Other smaller transactions included a few hundred thousand here and there, you know, just casual burning.
SHIB Takes a Joyride: Up 9.25% This Week
In a plot twist nobody saw coming, SHIB has surged by an impressive 9.25% in the past week, rocketing up from $0.00000574 to $0.00000627. But don’t get too excited yet; it seems we’ve hit a speed bump, and it’s now hanging out at $0.00000618. At least we’re not plummeting into the abyss like some other coins!
While Bitcoin is busy making headlines by crossing the $71,000 mark, most of the crypto market seems to be in a bit of a slump. But not our little SHIB! It’s clinging to its gains like a toddler to their favorite stuffed animal.
