Shia LaBeouf was spotted stopping by a Los Angeles dispensary on Friday.
The actor, recently turned 40 and seen with his new girlfriend Nicole Mumphrey in June, looked serious while out by himself.
LaBeouf appeared to be holding something in a brown paper bag as he exited the dispensary.
The Daily Mail has contacted his representatives for a statement, but they haven’t responded yet.
He was dressed in dark gray athletic shorts, which bared his tattooed thighs.
The celebrity wore a cream-colored t-shirt with shorts, tucking the shirt in at the waist.
Shia LaBeouf completed his relaxed outfit with white socks and black and white Nike Cortez sneakers.
He sported a scruffy, graying beard, and his dark hair was cut short with longer tufts at the top.
The filmmaker pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor battery charges in June, related to a fight that happened at a bar in February.
According to People magazine, he received a two-year probation period and was ordered to complete programs for alcohol abuse, sensitivity, and anger management.
The actor from Transformers was arrested for assault on February 17th and was initially freed without having to pay bail.
After the judge learned that LaBeouf allegedly used a homophobic slur during the fight, he was required to post a $100,000 bond.
He faced another $5,000 bail for his second offense, and was then charged with battery a third time.
Shia LaBeouf’s attorney, Sarah Chervinsky, addressed the seriousness of the accusations and potential punishment in a statement given to the Daily Mail.
According to Chervinsky, the police and District Attorney’s investigation confirmed what Shia LaBeouf initially stated: the incident was simply a small disagreement at a bar during Mardi Gras.
She explained that there’s no proof this incident stemmed from bias or prejudice, which is why the charges were minor offenses. Mr. LaBeouf appeared in court today ready to accept responsibility for his actions, and he did so. He now intends to concentrate on spending time with family, continuing his work, and pursuing new creative endeavors.
Last month, the Holes star celebrated his birthday with the aforementioned Mumphrey in Louisiana.
They strolled hand-in-hand through New Orleans, celebrating a special day. The pair have been together since springtime.
LeBeouf split from wife Mia Goth, with whom he shares four-year-old daughter Isabel, last year.
Following the breakup, he relocated to New Orleans, where he has family roots.
He clarified it wasn’t a recent breakup, and while he didn’t want to go into detail – as the situation involved others – he admitted his own role in the end of his marriage. He explained that taking responsibility for his part led to his decision to move out, sharing this during a February interview with Channel 5.
