Sharon Osbourne smiles with her son Jack as he makes his first public appearance since welcoming new born daughter at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards

Sharon Osbourne seemed cheerful and happy as she attended Elton John’s Oscars viewing party with her son, Jack, on Sunday.

The 73-year-old TV star was one of many celebrities at the singer’s yearly party, which benefits his foundation dedicated to fighting AIDS.

I was so thrilled to see Sharon at the event with her son! It was wonderful to see him out and about with his newborn daughter, making her first public appearance just a few weeks after she was born.

In a sweet red carpet shot, Sharon looked up at her son as they exchanged a knowing look together. 

Sharon looked chic for the evening, wearing a black suit paired with an open-collared white shirt and a delicate white rose pin.

Jack looked sharp in a black suit and seemed surprisingly energetic, even after a hectic few weeks.

Jack and Aree Osbourne recently announced the birth of their daughter on March 5th. They’ve named her after Jack’s father, the late Ozzy Osbourne.

Jack announced the birth of his daughter, sharing that her name is Ozzy Matilda Osbourne in a touching post honoring his late father.

He announced on his social media story that she had arrived and looked wonderful, prompting an outpouring of congratulatory messages from friends and fans.

Ozzy Osbourne, Jack’s father, passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76. His death occurred just 17 days after a final concert with his band, Black Sabbath, in England. Jack and the rest of the Osbourne family had traveled from Los Angeles to Birmingham for the performance.

Jack and Aree revealed they’re expecting another baby in December, not long after Jack finished appearing on ‘I’m A Celeb.’ They are also parents to their three-year-old daughter, Maple.

Sharon has made the difficult decision to leave her home in Buckinghamshire, where Ozzy is buried.

Ozzy Osbourne is buried at Welders House, a historic building in Buckinghamshire that he and Sharon bought in 1993. However, their children – Aimee, Jack, and Kelly – and their five grandchildren have all gone back to their homes in Los Angeles.

After the holidays with her kids in Los Angeles, Sharon has chosen to divide her time between her house in the UK and a new apartment in LA. She plans to spend at least half of the year living on the West Coast, reports The Sun.

Sources suggest this change could be long-term, and she’s likely to be living in the US for the majority of the time again within the next two years.

Sharon lovingly cares for Jack’s daughters – Pearl, Andy Rose, Minnie Theodora, and Maple Artemis – and Kelly’s son, Sidney. Sources close to her say she wishes she could spend more time with them every day.

Sharon spent many years working with Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh on the popular show, The X Factor, which is no longer on TV. She also lived in Los Angeles with her husband, Ozzy, for two decades, and built a large professional network there.

The Osbournes, a popular reality show that aired from 2002 to 2005, was mostly filmed at the family’s house in the upscale Hancock Park area of Beverly Hills.

Ozzy, who was raised in Aston, Birmingham, always said he wanted to spend his final days back in England.

When his health began to decline, they listed their American property for $18 million. This encouraged Sharon to renovate their home in the UK to better accommodate his growing care needs.

She designed a rehabilitation area to help him regain his ability to walk, and also added living space for a nurse who could provide him with constant, on-site care.

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE the upgrades! They built this incredible space for working out and just being healthy, and then this amazing art studio – I can just picture all the creativity happening there! But the best part? A pool house… but it’s not just a pool house! It’s like a little spa retreat, with a gorgeous orangery, a wet room, and even a proper changing area. It’s absolute heaven, honestly. I’m obsessed!

To give Ozzy privacy while he worked on his fitness, a tall, 2.4-meter fence was put up around his property, and the security cameras were improved.
