Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered Gets a Halloween Release Date
As a long-time gamer with a soft spot for horror and action games, I can’t help but feel a shiver of excitement run down my spine as I hear the news about Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered. I vividly remember playing the original game back in 2011, marveling at the unique blend of Suda51’s quirky storytelling and Mikami-esque horror elements. The demonic world of Shadows of the Damned was a wild ride, filled with grotesque monsters, clever puzzle-solving, and an unforgettable soundtrack that made my heart race.
Grasshopper Manufacture’s developer team has revealed that the revamped version of “Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered” – an intriguing third-person shooter filled with demons, created in collaboration between Suda51 (No More Heroes, Killer7) and Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil, The Evil Within) back in 2011 – is set to release this Halloween.
In the latest trailer, we get a preview of the revamped version, where Garcia Hotspur and his companion Johnson unleash gunfire against hordes of monsters, accompanied by heart-piercing shrieks. Additionally, viewers are treated to brief glimpses of the new costumes that will be included as extras in this updated edition.
Beginning on October 31st, Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered will be available for purchase on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Pre-orders can be placed today. Take a peek at the new trailer in the link below to get a preview of this updated release.
