September 19 Update Patch Notes

As a seasoned gamer with over 20 years of experience under my belt, I must say that the upcoming events for GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE sound absolutely thrilling! The Union Raid beginning on September 20th is something I can’t wait to participate in. Coordinating with my fellow gamers and challenging the Boss for those sweet Union Chips is right up my alley.

On September 19, 2024, our game server requires some care and upgrades. This means that during this period, you won’t be able to access the game. We sincerely apologize for any hassle this may cause.

Please note that this update is mandatory. You can download the latest version updates on the App Store or Google Play Store. Please make sure your phone has at least 5 GB of available space for the update, and new commanders should have at least 10 GB of available space. To update the PC client to the latest version, please click LAUNCH on your Launcher.

Please do not close the game during the resource download process, in case the client update fails.

Expected maintenance duration: 11:00:00 – 18:00:00, September 19, 2024 (UTC +9)

Major Updates:

1. New Nikke

1.1 SSR Rouge

Rouge, the leader of 777 squad and the game master in Coin Rush, joins the battlefield.

Rouge is a supporter who can reduce Burst Skill cooldown and boost her allies’ max HP.

Based on meeting certain skill requirements, she has the ability to boost her team and improve her personal Burst Skill.

The period for the Special Recruit event will extend from the conclusion of the September 19, 2024 maintenance till 4:59:59 on October 3, 2024 (Korean Standard Time).

* How to obtain: Lobby → Recruit → Special Recruit

* Recruit Rules:

① In Special Recruit, you have the option to utilize either Gems (either free or paid) or Advanced Recruit Tokens. Regular Recruit Tokens are not applicable for this purpose.

② In the Special Recruit event, there’s approximately a 4% likelihood of obtaining an SSR Nikke, while there’s about a 2% chance of getting an SSR Rouge.

③ You can get Gold Mileage Tickets when recruiting in Special Recruit.

④ You can exchange 200 Gold Mileage Tickets for Rouge in the Mileage Shop.

⑤ When Special Recruit ends, unused Gold Mileage Tickets will not disappear.

After the update following the conclusion of Special Recruit, you’ll find Rouge accessible in Regular Recruit, Social Point Recruit, and through Mold items. Please note that she will not be available in New Commander Special Recruit or during the Tutorial phase of Regular Recruit.

1.2 Temporarily Participating Characters

During the “Recruit” phase, you can temporarily include recruitable Nikkes from the “Pick-Up Recruitment” in your team for the “Union Shooting Range”. This allows you to utilize them during this specific activity.

2. New Costumes

2.1 Special Costume – Red Hood: Nonsense Red

Quirky and happy memories in red.

In the Red Hood Special, you’ll have a chance to acquire the “Nonsense Red” outfit, which is the winning costume of the 2024 Nikke popularity poll character, Red Hood. The “Nonsense Red” set features a full voice-over, animated Burst Skill, a standing pose, and a special SD (Super Deformed) model.

2.2 Special Costume – Miranda: Thief of Justice

The phantom thief police will also continue to work hard for the sake of justice today.

Obtain “Miranda: Thief of Justice” through the October Mission Pass. For more information, refer to the latest goods list under October Mission Pass.

3. New Events

3.1 New Story Event: JINX PLAYER

The event will last from the closing moment of September 19, 2024 (UTC+9), until October 3, 2024, at 4:59:59 UTC+9.

Rouge is trapped in a cycle of unfortunate jinxes.

Assisted by Blanc and Noir, she struggles to resume her ordinary lifestyle, yet her faith in games has crumbled entirely, and an unhealthy fixation on luck and superstitions has grown stronger within her.

Meanwhile, the final competition she must participate in is drawing near…

Take part in the JINX PLAYER event and conquer levels to obtain event goods. These items can then be traded for a variety of prizes like Recruit Tokens and construction resources at the Event Marketplace.

* Item exchange in Event Shop will end on October 3, 2024 at 4:59:59 (UTC+9).

3.2 Archives – DIRTY BACKYARD

Story Event DIRTY BACKYARD is now available in Archives.

Participate in JINX PLAYER to obtain Memory Films for unlocking story events in Archives.

*How to enter: Lobby → Outpost → Command Center → Recollection → Archives

3.3 Red Hood Special

Duration of the event: Starting from the closing time of September 19, 2024 (UTC+9), up until 11:59 PM on October 30, 2024 (UTC+9)

As a dedicated fan, I’ll be sure to log in during the event to snag the exclusive Nonsense Red costume for the winner of the popularity poll featuring Red Hood. Plus, I don’t want to miss out on the limited avatar frames for the Top 5 Nikkes: Red Hood, Dorothy, Scarlet (x2), Blanc, and Black Shadow!

3.4 Special Event: Nonsense Red

The event will last from the conclusion of the maintenance on September 19, 2024 (UTC+9), up until 4:59:59 on October 3, 2024 (UTC+9). In simpler terms, the event spans from the end of September 19 to just before October 3, lasting approximately five days.

– The songs playing on the jukebox in the Commander’s Room remind Rapunzel of her happy past.

3.6 7-Day Login Event – LUCKY PLAYER CHECK

Duration of the event: Starting from the end of the September 19, 2024 maintenance, up until October 3, 2024 at 4:59:59 (Korean Standard Time +9)

1) During the event, simply log in for seven consecutive days to receive bonuses. You’ll earn Recruit Vouchers and development resources as a reward.

3.7 Coordinated Operation

Assemble a group of five leaders, ready to take on Boss Modernia D.M.T.R.! Players have the option to band together with their friends or fellow guild members, or they can be matched automatically to form a team. Overcome the boss and secure Broken Cores as rewards. Trade these cores for Gems and development materials at the Recycling Shop!

From 12:00:00, September 27, 2024 to 23:59:59, September 29, 2024 (UTC+9)

* How to join: Lobby → Event → Coordinated Operation

4. Union Raid

The Union Battle kicks off on September 20, 2024, at 12:00:00 (UTC+9)! Gather your fellow Union members to face the Boss, earn Union Points, and swap them for prizes!

* Raid duration: From 12:00:00, September 20, 2024 to 4:59:59, September 25, 2024 (UTC+9)

* Condition to join: Union should be in Lv. 3

Please note that players are unable to remove Union members or leave the Union during Union Raid.

5. Weekend-Only – FULL BURST DAY Event

* Event duration: From 5:00:00, September 28, 2024 to 4:59:59, September 30, 2024 (UTC+9)

On weekends during the Full Burst Day event, players can earn extra rewards in both the Interception and Simulation Rooms.

6. New Gameplay and Features

6.1 Added the Advise Collection System.

6.2 Added a View Episode feature to Advise.

– View the episodes of a specific Nikke at set times to get additional rewards.

6.3 Improved the ease of use of the Favorite Item system.

Enhanced the system to show a small red marker when a preferred item requires maintenance, if it’s among your favorites.

Enhanced the visual representation of level details and item types (like weapons) for Collectibles and Favorites, making it easier to understand at a glance.

Implemented a new function enabling players to trade maintenance resources for top-tier favorite items of other characters, in return for resources dedicated to their own preferred Nikke’s favorite items.

6.4 Added a combination feature for SR Collection Items.

6.5 Added new Profile Card Objects to Profile Decoration.

6.6 Added new titles.

6.7 Added a Memory Saver Mode option to Settings.

6.8 Added new features to Lobby Decoration.

– Added a feature that allows players to change the background for Nikkes set in the Lobby.

– Added a feature that allows players to set a BGM for every Lobby screen.

7. New Commodities

7.1 October Mission Pass

* Sale Duration: From 00:00:00, October 1, 2024 to 23:59:59, October 31, 2024 (UTC+9)

Once you’ve obtained the Premium Mission Pass, accomplish daily tasks to advance in levels and collect Recruit Vouchers. Obtain Miranda’s unique costume, Thief of Justice, upon reaching the highest level attainable.

7.2 New character packages will be available after the September 19, 2024 maintenance.

* Duration of Sale: Commencing at the close of the scheduled maintenance on September 19, 2024 (UTC+9), and concluding on October 3, 2024 at 4:59:59 (UTC+9)
