Seiko Australia recently launched a new watch designed for racing fans. The Seiko 5 Sports 2026 Supercars Limited Edition (SSK057K) celebrates over ten years of partnership with the Repco Supercars Championship. This special edition combines the look of professional racing with practical features, and for the first time, includes a GMT function in the championship’s official watch collection.
This 42.5mm stainless steel watch brings the excitement of the racetrack to your wrist. It’s built to handle splashes and everyday wear with 100 meters of water resistance and a tough, scratch-resistant crystal. The watch’s bold design takes inspiration from motorsports, emphasizing performance and speed. Its carbon fiber dial is eye-catching, highlighted by bright red details that stand out against the dark background. A stylish black leather strap with red stitching completes the look, echoing the interiors of fast touring cars.
The SSK057K watch is powered by the dependable automatic Caliber 4R34 movement. This allows it to easily track two different time zones at once, which is especially useful for following the fast-paced Supercars racing series that takes place across the six time zones of Australia and New Zealand. The watch features a see-through case back that showcases the intricate movement inside, and it also displays the official Supercars logo, adding to its genuine appeal.
This special collaboration will be limited to just 1,500 numbered pieces worldwide. It costs $850 AUD (about $600 USD) and includes much more than just the watch. Each watch comes in a unique presentation box, along with an official Supercars pin, a cleaning cloth, and a numbered certificate showing the challenging race tracks from the season. This makes it a top-quality collectible for both racing fans and watch collectors.
