Schedule shake-up! A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms episode 4 will release early – here’s why

Fans of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will be happy to hear that the next episode is coming out earlier this week! It’s being released ahead of schedule to avoid being shown at the same time as the Super Bowl.

The new HBO drama is based on the Tales of Dunk and Egg novellas by George R.R. Martin, who created the series with Ira Martin. It takes place about a hundred years before the events in the popular Game of Thrones series.

This week, you can watch episode four of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, called ‘Seven’, before it airs on TV. It’s being released online early!

What to Read Next

The new episode will premiere on HBO this Sunday, February 10th at 10pm. However, it will also be available on HBO Max in the US starting February 6th at midnight Pacific Time. For viewers in the UK, that means you can watch it from 8:01am on Sky and NOW TV.

The show features Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell as Dunk and Egg – a tall knight and his dedicated young squire – as they travel across the Seven Kingdoms on a grand adventure.

The first part will be followed by a second season, which is planned for release sometime next year.

The first season of the show is based on the novel The Hedge Knight. Future seasons are planned to draw from the other two books in the series: The Sworn Sword and The Mystery Knight.

According to Parker, who co-created and runs the prequel series, George R.R. Martin has written twelve more stories about Dunk and Egg. However, it’s currently unknown when these stories will be published or adapted for television.

This season has six episodes, and the last one will air on February 22nd. Episode 4, titled ‘Seven’, hints at a major battle for Dunk, who needs to gather six fighters to help him.

The series will also star Daniel Ings, known for his work in The Gentlemen, as well as Bertie Carvel, Sam Spruell, and Finn Bennett.

You can watch ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ on Sky Atlantic and Now in the UK, and on HBO and HBO Max in the US.
