Netflix is ending its February 2026 releases with the popular sci-fi film starring Scarlett Johansson that was a huge success in theaters this past summer.
Following a successful run in theaters, earning over $869 million globally, Jurassic World Rebirth, starring Scarlett Johansson, will be available to stream on Netflix in the U.S. starting February 28th. This is the second time the popular sci-fi movie has been offered on a streaming service, after it first became available on Peacock in October.
I’m so excited! The latest Jurassic Park movie, Rebirth, is coming to Netflix, and it’s joining the other films with Chris Pratt! Jurassic World, Fallen Kingdom, and Dominion are all going to be available to stream too. Rebirth will be there starting February 28th, and then Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom will be added on March 1st. Dominion follows right after on March 2nd – it’s going to be a Jurassic March!
Although part of the Jurassic World series, Rebirth was planned as a direct sequel to Dominion and a fresh start for the franchise. It’s the first Jurassic Park movie not to feature any returning characters. Starring Scarlett Johansson, Jurassic World Rebirth also features Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Mahershala Ali, Ed Skrein, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, David Iacono, Luna Blaise, Audrina Miranda, and other talented actors.
Five years after the events of Dominion, Jurassic World Rebirth centers on Zora Bennett (Johansson), a skilled operative specializing in covert operations. She’s hired by a pharmaceutical executive to team up with paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis (Bailey) and gather samples from three different dinosaur species. While on their mission to collect these samples, the group stumbles upon the Delgado family, who are stranded, and they all must work together to survive dangerous encounters with dinosaurs.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, who also directed Godzilla, and written by David Koepp, a screenwriter known for his work on Jurassic Park, Jurassic World Rebirth was a huge success in 2025. It became the fifth highest-grossing film in the Jurassic Park series, earning over $869 million worldwide on a budget of $180 million.
Universal hasn’t officially announced a sequel to Jurassic World Rebirth, even though the movie did well in theaters and on Peacock. But with Jurassic World Rebirth becoming available on Netflix this week, interest in a follow-up could increase and spark new conversations about making one.
While getting ready for the new Jurassic World film on Netflix, Scarlett Johansson is also taking on a role in a remake of a classic horror story. She’s been chosen to star in Mike Flanagan’s upcoming The Exorcist movie, which will be a fresh take on the original film from 1973.
