Sabrina Carpenter strips down to lingerie with her A-list pals in racy House Tour music video

Sabrina Carpenter is known for being bold and creative, and her newest music video continues that trend.

The 26-year-old pop star’s new music video for her single, “House Tour,” from the album “Man’s Best Friend,” is quite revealing.

In a stunning new video, Carpenter invades a mansion and causes chaos, accompanied by actresses Margaret Qualley and Madelyn Cline.

Okay, so they just completely let loose! They quickly stripped down and changed into barely-there lingerie, then immediately went for the alcohol – emptying the liquor cabinet, basically. After that, it was all about pampering and fun: a bubbly bath, and then straight into the pool! It was a total, carefree night.

The robbers search the house, stealing any money and jewelry they can find before escaping as the police arrive.

But the situation quickly becomes serious when Carpenter and Qualley accidentally hit a man with their car. It seems he doesn’t survive, and they drive away into the night.

The new video seems to take its inspiration from the real-life story of The Bling Ring – a group of teenagers who were obsessed with fame and famously broke into the homes of Hollywood stars.

The video has been a hit with fans, with one playfully commenting on a running joke about Sabrina Carpenter’s music videos: ‘It’s never a Sabrina Carpenter video without a man meeting an unfortunate end! The scene where she ran him over was hilarious!’

Another wrote, ‘I love how in every music video she makes sure a man suffers… ICONIC.’

The song ‘House Tour’ is famous for its suggestive lyrics, where Carpenter uses the imagery of a house to represent sexual activity.

‘Do you want the house tour? I could take you to the first, second, third floor,’ she sings.

‘I just want you to come inside / But never enter through the back door.’

Carpenter faced criticism before for the cover art of her album, Man’s Best Friend.

The cover depicted Carpenter on all fours as a man pulls on her blonde hair.

The picture, when seen with the album’s name, caused many people to believe Carpenter was portraying herself – and women in general – as being like dogs or playthings for men.

Carpenter hit back at the criticism in an interview with Gayle King on CBS last year.

‘It is not for the pearl clutchers. The album is not for any pearl clutchers no,’ she said.

Even people who are easily shocked or offended can probably listen to an album like that privately and find something amusing or that makes them smile.

The singer behind the hit ‘Espresso’ acknowledged that her songs often contain strong and direct language, and aren’t necessarily suitable for performing around others.

‘It’s like it’s almost TMI,’ Carpenter quipped.

I often think about being at a concert and seeing all those young women up front, screaming and having fun with their friends. It’s a reminder that sometimes, things can just be enjoyable and that’s okay.

She also admits that her music isn’t for everyone.

I don’t expect everyone to love my work, and it’s strange to think artists need to appeal to absolutely everyone. People have this idea that artists need to satisfy every single preference, but that’s just not realistic,” she explained.

The Grammy-winning artist has faced backlash for performing suggestive acts onstage during her concerts, separate from her music itself.

Carpenter says her exes are usually pleased when she writes songs inspired by their relationships.

She told King that she’s always very open about being a songwriter when she starts a relationship, and she believes most people are okay with it.

Generally, people are quite pleased when I write a song about them, whether it’s a positive or negative portrayal.

Although Carpenter has worked in the music industry for ten years, she first achieved major success with her sixth album, ‘Short n’ Sweet,’ which came out in 2024.

The album produced several songs that went multi-platinum, such as “Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” and “Taste.”

A year later, she released Man’s Best Friend, featuring the chart-topping single “Manchild” and other popular songs like “Tears” and “When Did You Get Hot?”.
