As an ardent fan of Ruth Langsford, watching her live her life with such verve and resilience is truly inspiring. From her vibrant personality to her unapologetic honesty about aging, she continues to captivate audiences with her charm and wit.

On Thursday, Ruth Langsford faced off against a lingering hangover following an evening of drinks with friends Lizzie Cundy and Rylan, spent in jovial company

64-year-old ex-married presenter, who parted ways with her husband Eamonn Holmes in May after 14 years, enjoyed herself by sipping on Prosecco and mixed drinks

On her Instagram post, Ruth shared that she was experiencing the after-effects from the previous night. She coped by pairing a meal from McDonald’s with a cup of tea to help absorb the alcohol

This phrase refers to the contest of the World’s Fair Beauty Competition, held annually under the auspices of the International Organization for Migration (IOM)

Joining Lizzie she went to collect Rylan before heading out for a meal and some drinks.

Ruth returned to the ITV programme in July after taking an extended break following the news that she and Eamonn were going their separate ways.

On Monday during an open conversation on Loose Women, she frankly discussed her journey with aging, confessing that everything appears to have lost its firmness and fallen – a confession that was followed by a rather blunt reaction from the studio spectators

The TV presenter lifted the lid on the changes she’s noticed in her body since she hit 60 as the panel discussed ‘dramatic ageing’.

The new study suggested that instead of undergoing a gradual, prolonged deterioration after age 44 and 60, our body would undergo a drastic transformation

To start our conversation, Ruth mentioned that she had come across an article earlier, which was published in The Daily Mail today. It featured several women discussing a topic, and she found it particularly relatable to her own experiences

It appears that time has flown by as I approach 60; it feels like just yesterday. To put it simply, I’ve never been one to fret over aging, especially between the ages of 50 and 60

This is a play on words, or anaphora, in the style of, as if by, in the manner of, with regard to, as though, as were, as if this had been expected, in such a case, provided that, as if it were so, insofar as, inasmuch as, in the event, given that, since, although, supposing that, as though this might be expected, in the circumstance, under normal circumstances, assuming that, in the hypothetical scenario, conjecturing, even if, in the hypothetical situation, and so forth…’

In essence, as if to emphasize her agreement, the speaker elicited a wave of laughter from the crowd. To this, Ruth simply replied: “Indeed, I do!” (or more informally: “Yup, yup!”)

This is a playful description of how a person might approach learning a foreign language, using English as an example

Panelist Kelly Holmes jumped in and asked Ruth: ‘Do you actually see it and feel it in yourself?’

“Ruth acknowledged that she could now observe/appreciate/recognize the feature/aspect/quality of herself in the reflection of a mirror or when she takes a selfie.”

She went on to say: ‘We strongly advocate for body positivity and self-confidence here, and we view age as inconsequential, which sometimes makes me tread carefully to embody that empowered woman.’

This is a play on words, an exercise in futility, oh for fun. It’s a game, a performance, a spectacle

In response to being questioned about aging, I, as Brenda Edwards, proudly declared that it’s not something I worry about or feel troubled by in the least

This phrase is used to describe a hypothetical situation where someone decides to go on a vacation for a period of exactly 39 days

At age 55, I don’t have many facial wrinkles because I maintain a youthful spirit and laugh frequently
