As a huge Marvel fan, I’m hearing some exciting news! It looks like Marvel Studios is planning more shows for Disney+, and they’re bringing back a character a lot of us already love from their earlier TV series. Apparently, this character is getting their own spin-off, which is a really interesting move as Marvel continues to build out its universe on the streaming platform. I can’t wait to see what they do with it!

New Jessica Jones series rumored to be in works at Marvel

Marvel Studios is working on a new series starring Jessica Jones. According to a reliable source, the project is currently in development, making it the first time the character will be featured in a solo series since the original show on Netflix ended.

Krysten Ritter first played Jessica Jones in a Netflix series that aired from 2015 to 2019. The character later teamed up with Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist in a special crossover event. After Netflix and Marvel ended their partnership, Marvel Studios took over these shows and characters.

Charlie Cox’s return as Daredevil has been officially confirmed with Season 3 of ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ Photos taken on the set of the new season reveal Ritter filming scenes with Finn Jones and Mike Colter, hinting at a potential team-up with other heroes from ‘The Defenders’ within the show’s storyline.

New episodes of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 are now available on Disney+. Episode five, titled “The Grand Design,” brought back Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson in flashback scenes. The show follows a battle for New York City, exploring themes of survival, fighting back, and finding redemption over eight intense episodes.

Season two sees Mayor Wilson Fisk, also known as the Kingpin, tightening his grip on New York City while relentlessly pursuing Daredevil, the vigilante of Hell’s Kitchen. Meanwhile, Matt Murdock, hidden beneath the Daredevil mask, will struggle to dismantle Fisk’s criminal empire and restore his city. The season’s theme is one of resistance, rebellion, and rebuilding.

New episodes of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 are available on Disney+ every Tuesday at 9 PM. They’re also already working on Season 3. Marvel Studios hasn’t shared any information yet about the upcoming Jessica Jones project, like when it will come out or who will be involved.
