Ava Phillippe strongly resembled her mother, Reese Witherspoon, at the Los Angeles premiere of Scream 7 on Wednesday.
Reese Witherspoon’s daughter and Ryan Phillippe’s child turned heads on the red carpet at the Paramount Theatre, wearing a stunning black snakeskin dress.
The dress was stylish and featured thin straps, a rounded neckline, and a fitted top that flared out from the waist.
The actress let her dress be the focus of her look, keeping jewelry simple with bold gold earrings. She completed the outfit with red high heels, which also gave her some extra height.
She looked radiant and affectionate with her boyfriend, Dakota Brubaker, as they posed for photos on the red carpet before the movie premiere.
The rising star, who’s been frequently seen at Hollywood events lately, recently appeared in the Netflix series Ransom Canyon. She played a younger version of a character in a ‘90s prom flashback, and her hairstyle and purple dress made her look remarkably like her famous mother.
The young actress announced on Instagram last April that her show, ‘Ransom Canyon,’ was now available on Netflix, sharing photos from her role.
She declared it the ‘Best. Prom. Ever’ in a social media post, and another picture showed her hairstyle – a classic updo popular in the ’90s.
She wrote: ‘Gotta love a butterfly clip updo,’ adding some purple butterfly stickers.
Ava is starting her acting career strong and will soon star in the movie Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up with Me, which is adapted from the popular graphic novel by Mariko Tamaki and Rosemary Valero-O’Connell.
Following in her mother’s career path, she started acting last year with a role on the show Doctor Odyssey.
Ava has worked with major brands including Ivy Park by Beyoncé, Pat McGrath Labs, and her mother’s company, Draper James. She’s also a global ambassador for Vince Camuto.
Meanwhile, her mother, Reese, recently credited her illustrious career to ‘anxiety.’
The star, celebrating her 50th birthday on March 22nd, recently told Harper’s Bazaar that her anxiety may have actually contributed to her success. She believes the two are closely linked.
I used to put a lot of pressure on myself to be perfect at work, but I’ve realized now that perfection is impossible.
That lifestyle wasn’t healthy long-term. I pushed myself incredibly hard at work, and while it led to success, it was fueled by stress and a need to be perfect. Essentially, I was rewarded for being anxious and a perfectionist.
As I get older, I’m finally learning to be content with who I am. I’ve been incredibly lucky – I’ve had a fulfilling career with amazing opportunities and the chance to collaborate with truly exceptional people.
Reese Witherspoon has three children: Ava, her 21-year-old son Deacon, and 12-year-old Tennessee. Deacon’s father is her ex-husband, actor Ryan Phillippe, and Tennessee’s father is her former spouse, Jim Toth.
