As a long-time fan who has grown up with Reese Witherspoon gracing our screens for decades, it’s heartbreaking to hear about the passing of her beloved family dog, Hank. Reese Witherspoon has announced the death of her family dog, Hank.

Actress who starred in both “Little Fires Everywhere” and “The Morning Show” announced on her Instagram Story the passing of her beloved Labrador, Hank. Accompanied by a picture of him, she wrote: “We’ll deeply miss your gentle soul, Hank. Thank you for being our cherished family pet and leader.”

Witherspoon’s daughter Ava Phillippe shared a photo of Hank on her own Instagram page.

As a long-time dog owner myself, I can attest to the profound impact pets like Hanky have on our lives. For 14 and a half years, Hanky was not just a pet but a cherished family member, always there to greet us with a wagging tail and an unconditional love that brightened even the gloomiest of days. His presence served as a daily reminder that life’s simple joys can often be found in the smallest things, like a walk around the block or a game of fetch.

Previously, Witherspoon posted a picture where she was performing yoga on a towel. Her husband, Hank, and another dog of hers were seen calmly observing the scene. Lightheartedly, she labeled it as her “reward position.”

The actor is set to work on several upcoming ventures, one of them being a comedy film titled “You’re Cordially Invited“, where she will share the screen with Will Ferrell.

Even though the movie isn’t due for release until January 2025, they’ve already unveiled a trailer, offering a sneak peek into the hilarious mayhem that arises when two distinct wedding parties accidentally book the same venue on the same day.

Via her company Hello Sunshine, she’s collaborating with Netflix to produce a documentary on female Formula 1 racers and the much anticipated third series of Big Little Lies.

“She mentioned earlier this year that Nicole Kidman and I have been putting a lot of effort into something we’re currently working on, playfully hinting at it.”

Apart from Witherspoon and Kidman, the principal actors in this series also feature prominent figures like Shailene Woodley, Zoë Kravitz, Laura Dern, Alexander Skarsgård. Meryl Streep made an appearance for season 2. However, no updates regarding new or returning cast members for season 3 have been shared so far.
