Rapper Luci4 dead at age 23: Cause of death unknown but grandparents are ‘suspicious’ of his passing

Rapper Luci4 has passed away at age 23. 

Luci4, also known as James Dear, is a leading artist in the emerging sigilkore music scene. He’s the creator of popular tracks like “BodyPartz” and “idk anymore.”

Kayla G, the manager of Luci4, shared the news of his death in a post on his Instagram account, saying she was ‘devastated’.

TMZ confirmed his death through the L.A. County Medical Examiner, but the cause of death remains unknown.

Police secured Luci4’s home as a crime scene after his death, and his grandparents are now questioning the circumstances surrounding it.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, they responded to a medical call at a home around 11:40 AM. Unfortunately, the person needing help had already died by the time firefighters arrived, and police were notified, as reported by TMZ.

A crime scene was established when police arrived, law enforcement sources told the publication. 

An investigation is now underway and whether or not foul play is being considered is not yet known. 

Luci4’s grandparents reported he passed away on February 22nd while visiting a friend’s house in Los Angeles, and they have expressed concerns about the circumstances surrounding his death.

They said their grandson had been robbed of his wallet, and they’d recently warned him to be careful about who he trusted as he became more well-known.

They are now awaiting an explanation from police. 

Luci4’s manager, Kayla G, shared the sad news of James, also known as Luci4 and axxturel, passing away with his fans. She described him as a remarkable leader, a talented musician, and a true genius.

‘There’s nobody like him and there will never be. We all loved him dearly. Rest easy.
