Rapper Offset was shot Monday evening near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, but is expected to recover, according to a spokesperson for The Times.

Police previously identified one of the two people arrested Monday in connection with the shooting involving Offset as Tione Jayden Merritt, also known as Lil Tjay. The 24-year-old was taken to a Broward County jail and charged with disturbing the peace and driving without a valid license.

As of Tuesday morning, charges had not been filed against the second detainee.
