Newbie/Incomplete Box Section

As a seasoned gamer and tech enthusiast with over a decade of experience under my belt, I must say that the guide for Rapi: Red Hood is nothing short of impressive! The attention to detail and thoroughness in providing tips and strategies for this versatile character is truly commendable.

Having played through countless hours of games, from action-packed shooters to strategic RPGs, I can confidently say that the guide’s insights have been a game-changer for me. It’s not often you come across such comprehensive and well-structured information on a single character, especially one as unique as Rapi: Red Hood.

The way the guide breaks down the skills, gear priorities, and cubes recommendations is incredibly helpful, making it easy for players of all skill levels to maximize their potential with this character. Moreover, the life experience section adds a touch of personality and makes the guide more relatable, which I found quite refreshing.

All in all, if you’re looking to optimize your Rapi: Red Hood gameplay, this guide is an absolute must-read! And remember, always keep your fingers on the triggers and your eyes on the target – unless, of course, you’re playing a puzzle game, then maybe take a break and give your brain a rest. After all, even the most hardcore gamers need a breather now and then!

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that Rapi is truly a versatile character to have in any team. Her unique ability to function as both a cooldown reduction Nikke, making her an essential piece for every proper team, and a full-fledged DPS when paired with a burst I Nikke, makes her an invaluable asset. I’ve found myself relying on Rapi’s abilities time and time again to turn the tide of battle in my favor. Her massive ATK buffs for herself instead of cooldown reduction when there is a burst I Nikke present, really amplifies her damage output. Overall, Rapi’s versatility and adaptability have made her one of my favorite characters to play with and I highly recommend adding her to any team.

Rapi prefers to be a Burst III character, mainly because her team support abilities aren’t strong and her personal damage takes a hit. However, this doesn’t mean she’s ineffective as a Burst I. In fact, Rapi can dish out impressive damage even at Burst I level, making her an excellent choice for commanders who don’t have Liter or Red Hood, regardless of the game mode.

Rapi shines equally in boss battles and campaigns, effortlessly conquering stages that require resistance to fire and iron. Given that Rapi’s damage is comparable to that of Scarlet: Black Shadow and Cinderella (SSS), it surpasses our top MG DPS character, Modernia, in terms of performance.

Basic Information

  • Skill 1: Battlefield Asessment
  • Skill 2: Attachable Projectiles
  • Burst: Power of Inheritance
  • Cooldown: 40s
  • Rarity: SSR
  • Burst: III
  • Weapon: MG
  • Class: Attacker
  • Element: Fire
  • Manufacturer: Elysion (Over-Spec)
  • Squad: Counters
  • Weapon Name: MG: Seven Dwarves 0

Normal Attack Information

Her standard attacks are roughly equal to those of an average Machine Gun user (approximately 5.5% damage per shot). She doesn’t seem to have any distinctive unique characteristics, apart from the projectile add-ons she carries. These attachments inflict periodic damage based on her normal attack discharges.

In most games, Machine Guns (MGs) need a consistent frame rate per second (FPS) to dish out their intended damage, given the game mechanics. When the Commander plays with low FPS, the MGs fire at a much slower pace. This issue is common across all weapons, but it significantly affects rapid-fire weapons like the Rapi, as her abilities are primarily based on basic attacks.

Skill 1: Battlefield Assessment

At the beginning of a fight and after using Full Burst, this ability triggers with varying effects based on squad formation. It only activates the specific effect it corresponds to. If there are no Burst Stage I allies, it modifies the character to Burst phase I continuously. When there are Burst Stage I allies, it removes that status and grants them Combat Assist instead.

If the character is in Combat Assist when entering Full Burst, it benefits all allies. The cooldown of the Burst Skill reduces by approximately 7.48 seconds. For 10 seconds, the attack power increases by 8.02% (unless in Combat Assist status), or a massive 95.04% if not in that status. Additionally, it boosts damage dealt to interruption parts by 48% for 10 seconds.

Rather simple but lengthy skill, let’s break it down a bit:

In this game, at the beginning of each round and upon completion of every complete burst sequence, it determines the role of Rapi: Red Hood in the team via Combat Assist status (either CDR or Full DPS). If a Burst I Nikke is destroyed during a full burst, Rapi: Red Hood will acquire Combat Assist status (CDR) afterwards, offering the team a “second chance” that can be beneficial in certain boss battles. However, this feature does not activate if the Burst I Nikke gets destroyed outside of the full burst sequence as it checks for “Combat Assist” status only at the end of a complete burst.

When to use Rapi: Red Hood as CDR

Assist Status (CDR)

Red Hood as a replacement for those missing burst abilities. If you don’t have Liter, Dorothy, D:Killer Wife, or Rouge to serve as dedicated Cooldown Reduction Nikke in your team, then using Rapi: Red Hood as a CDR, even though it may slightly reduce your personal Damage Per Second (DPS), is still a good choice.

In most situations, using Burst II Character Development Records (CDRs) isn’t advisable because the current Burst II CDRs (Dolla, Helm: Aquamarine outside of electric weak bosses) are relatively weak compared to other competitive characters. Many top-tier Burst IIs have high damage multipliers or survivability benefits. Therefore, using a non-CDR burst II and a CDR burst II isn’t beneficial in these situations. Instead, it would be more effective to use Rapi: Red Hood as the Burst I in such cases.

In certain scenarios, you can employ Rapi: Red Hood as a Command Role Display (CDR) during campaign mode if your Commander doesn’t already use or lacks Red Hood for solo bursts in Nikke. At times, Rapi: Red Hood may be preferred over Liter due to its immediate availability of a full burst throughout the game and impressive personal damage. On the other hand, Liter/Volume needs to focus on reducing their cooldown time, as the prolonged downtime can be problematic in some campaign matches where consecutive instant full bursts are essential to prevent Raptures from targeting Nikke.

killer wife or Rouge. This means she can handle stages with extended cover times more effectively when used as a Burst I Nikke.

Pairing

As a gamer, I prefer team compositions where Red Hood isn’t overly dependent on Liter’s attack buffs for increased damage when playing her as a Cooldown Reduction (CDR) character. Ideal teams would include high ATK buff characters like Scarlet: Black Shadow, Quency: Escape Queen, and so forth.

When to use Rapi: Red Hood as DPS

DPS

In most instances, it’s ideal for the Commander to assign this character more frequently if she has a fully assembled Nikke team. This is particularly beneficial when engaging in content that favors her element, as outside of Combat Assist status, Rapi: Red Hood receives a 95% Attack boost for each full burst, which significantly enhances the performance of MG Nikkes.

Rapi: Red Hood deals around 2x more damage if she is in non-combat assist status.

Interruption Parts (QTEs)

As a gamer, I’ve noticed that some challenging bosses have interrupt points signified by red circles. My Red Hood equipment amps up the damage I deal to these spots, making them easier to shatter. Interestingly, the damage inflicted on these circles is often deducted from the boss’s health too, providing a subtle yet effective DPS boost when battling bosses with numerous or tanky interrupt points.

Skill 2: Attachable Projectiles

At the onset of a fight, I unleash my abilities, focusing primarily on myself. I deal substantial elemental damage to Electric Code adversaries consistently. Additionally, the projectile attached to me amplifies damage by approximately 150.72% continually. Moreover, each projectile explosion intensifies the damage by around 100.6% continuously throughout the battle.

This ability becomes active after you’ve made 120 normal attacks. It affects only the user.

Attachable Projectiles:
This effect launches projectiles that can stick to hit points. When you trigger Full Burst, these projectiles detonate.

The damage caused by the projectile attachment is approximately 88.11% of your final attack power. Similarly, the damage caused by the projectile explosion is also around 88.11% of your final attack power.

The maximum number of rounds (ammunition) you can carry is one.

This unique trait sets Rapi: Red Hood apart because she’s resistant to not just one, but two elements. Any elemental enhancements provided by her overloaded equipment or teammates (through Asuka Skill 2) will boost the damage of those two elements she’s resistant to. However, it is important to note that being strong against these two elements does not mean Rapi: Red Hood possesses them as separate elements, so any buffs specific to electricity won’t have an impact on her.

Red Hood possesses a distinctive ability to overcome Quick Time Event sequences for both Wind-type and Electric-type bosses, in addition to this, she provides versatility to solo raid and anomaly interception teams with characters like Ultralisk and Indivilia.

As a gamer, I’d rephrase that like this: When I equip Red Hood’s projectiles, they appear as brilliant red sparks on enemies. These projectiles detonate when the monster dies, doesn’t attach to anything, or during full burst mode. The blast radius for these projectiles is quite large, capable of taking down multiple raptures in a wide area. This makes Red Hood decent at area-of-effect damage, but don’t rely on her explosions alone to take down full health mobs. However, her projectiles can quickly clear environmental terrain, which is fantastic for teams that struggle with this in Campaign mode, like Cinderella teams, teams without pierce Nikkes, and teams without MG Nikkes. On the other hand, in pierce burst generation teams, this could be a double-edged sword as my commander’s only method of generating burst gen outside of hitting raptures might now be destroyed.

Rapi: Red Hood Terrain clearing

Burst: Power of Inheritance

1. During Stage 1 (Squad Support Action Style): This ability impacts the user directly. The cooldown on Burst Skill decreases by 20 seconds. The explosion radius increases by 100.62% for a duration of 10 seconds, affecting all allies. The attack power increases by 18.01% of the caster’s attack power for a period of 10 seconds.

2. During Stage 3 (High-Mobility Close-Range Combat Weapon): This ability targets the enemy closest to the crosshair. It deals an additional damage equivalent to 2808% of the final attack power. The user is also affected. The explosion radius increases by 100.62% for a duration of 10 seconds. For a period of 10 seconds, projectile attachment damage increases by 421.2%. The skill 2 (attachable projectiles) triggers the count condition 60 times for a duration of 10 seconds.

When employing Rapi: Red Hood in Burst mode, her cooldown period decreases by 20 seconds, transforming her into a character with approximately a 20-second cooldown, similar to Nikke. The attack boost granted by her Burst I is noteworthy, lasting for ten seconds rather than the typical five, and it offers reasonable stat increases. During a full burst, she comes very close to possessing half the offensive buffing power of Liter.

During her Burst III, this character primarily inflicts damage through her projectile attachments rather than her auto attacks. Notably, these projectiles are capable of dealing core hits, making them an excellent match for damage buffs provided by characters like Naga and Asuka.

Campaign

Red Hood a powerful meta character), but she can also be utilized effectively in various stages due to her dual element capabilities. Essentially, Rapi: Red Hood is an exceptional burst option for most stages, serving as the best-in-slot burst for Nikke when commanders opt not to employ the solo Red Hood burst strategy, which some may find challenging to coordinate.

Red Hood, being Best in Show among burst abilities (excluding Red Hood), often stems from her immediate access to a full burst without needing to build it up or meet certain conditions. This quick cooldown reduction is crucial in many stages because it leaves little time for enemies to retaliate against your Nikkes, especially when they are dealing enough damage. While this wouldn’t alone make her a top pick, Red Hood offers about half the offensive buffing power of Liter, while still delivering substantial damage.

She has the versatility to join almost any team, thanks to her universally beneficial abilities and a self-reliant kit that includes potent Burst skills I and III. Here are some suggested teams based on her elements:

1. Pyro Team: With Xiangling, Mona, and Diluc or Klee, this team can provide strong elemental reactions like Vaporize and Melt.

2. Hydro Team: In a Hydro team, Tartaglia (Childe) pairs well with Mona, Xingqiu, and either Yelan or Barbara for healing support.

3. Cryo Team: For a Cryo team, Tartaglia can be used alongside Kaeya, Ganyu, and Diona or Mona for Crowd Control and supportive abilities.

4. Electro Team: In an Electro team, Tartaglia works well with Lisa, Fischl, and either Keqing or Beidou to trigger Electro-Charged reactions effectively.

Iron Team (Strong Against Electric/Burst III)

Liter,Crown,Red Hood,Rapi: Red Hood,Naga

The second reinforcement for our Iron-based squads has come in! If immediate Cooldown Reduction is essential, D:killer’s wife could substitute for Lit in this setup. 🙂

4 Full Burst Rotation (Red Hood Burst I buff for final wave)

Rotation

If four complete bursts are required to conquer a map, the rotation strategy prioritizes activating Red Hood’s burst buff more frequently during combat.

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent navigating virtual worlds, I have learned that sometimes the simplest names can hide complex identities. For instance, “Red Hood” and “Crown” may seem unrelated at first glance, but in the game’s lore, they are interconnected. The Red Hood is a character with a mysterious past, much like the Crown, which symbolizes power and authority. In my experience, understanding these connections can make all the difference between success and failure in the game.

Now, when it comes to naming characters or items, I always try to choose names that reflect their attributes or roles. For example, “Liter” could be a powerful weapon, symbolizing the written word and its power to shape history. Similarly, “Rapi” could be a swift and agile character, evoking images of a rapier, a quick and precise sword used in fencing.

In the heat of battle against the final enemy, I often find myself adopting a strategy known as “stalling.” This means holding off the enemy until my Red Hood character’s B1 Cooldown is complete. It might not always be the most glamorous tactic, but it has saved me more times than I can count.

In conclusion, understanding the nuances of game mechanics, characters, and items is essential for success in gaming. By choosing names that reflect their attributes, I create a richer gaming experience for myself and my fellow players. And when it comes to strategies like stalling, I find that patience and careful planning can often outsmart even the most formidable of foes.

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, let me share some insights about a particular game mechanic that has caught my attention recently. In this game, if your character’s wife is designated as a ‘killer,’ and you equip her to gain an instant Cooldown Reduction (CDR), even shooting at empty air will count towards the CDR skill activation. This unique feature can be particularly useful during tense situations when you’re trying to quickly eliminate the last enemy and acquire the Red Hood burst. I found myself using this technique quite often while stalling enemies, and it definitely came in handy!

3 Full Burst Rotation

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that playing Red Hood, or “Crown” as some may call it, is one of the most rewarding characters in the game. This character, much like myself, requires patience and strategy to be effective. When I find myself up against my last enemy, I know I must bide my time until Red Hood’s B1 Cooldown is complete. It’s not always easy, but it’s a crucial part of the game that separates the good players from the great ones. So, in essence, when playing Red Hood, I become “Rapi” and make every move count, knowing that patience and strategy are key to my success.

Fire Team (Strong against Wind/Burst I)

Crown,Rapi: Red Hood,Alice,Asuka,Naga

In our squad, which includes numerous elite Nikkes adhering to fire safety regulations, Rapi: Red Hood can function as a Burst I character. This is because he offers robust defense and high, consistent damage output. For managing enemy waves, Alice and Asuka should be more than sufficient. Remember to unleash your Burst ability with Alice when taking on boss waves if feasible.

Asuka can be replaced with Modernia.

Generalist Team (Burst I/III)

Essentially, she primarily excels at dealing damage per second (DPS) and cooldown reduction (CDR), with her burst capabilities being strong whether as Burst I or Burst III. She is versatile and complements any team well, making it difficult to make a poor choice when including her in your roster.

Arena

Red Hood functions better in Player vs Environment (PvE) scenarios compared to Player vs Player (PvP) ones. Despite having poor burst generation and significantly reduced DPS and damage in PvP, she can be tactfully employed for certain attacking tactics in SP or Rookie Arena. Although limiting in team composition, the teams she excels in are highly effective. For a comprehensive understanding of her PvP performance, refer to this guide: [Provide Link to Guide]

Special Interception | Union Raid | Solo Raid

    Anomaly Interception

    Ultra

    Liter,Crown,Rapi: Red Hood,Red Hood,Helm: Aquamarine

As a seasoned player with countless hours under my belt in Ultra AI, I must say that introducing Iron Nikke into my team has been nothing short of game-changing. Coming from a background where Red Hood was my go-to DPS, it’s quite remarkable to witness Iron Nikke outperform even the best.

Placing her as B3 has made the journey through higher stages significantly smoother and more efficient, provided my frame rate remains stable. The ease with which she handles enemies is truly impressive, making those challenging levels seem almost trivial. Kudos to the developers for creating such an exceptional character!

    Indivilia

    Crown,Asuka,Naga,Rapi: Red Hood,Alice

An unexpected twist of circumstances: I thought RRH would function optimally as B3, didn’t I? However, it’s been discovered that she performs best when utilized as a B1 unit. This is because of her high synergy with Asuka, who increases the damage dealt to the core and can also dish out significant damage herself. With the crown buffing Rapi’s B1 every burst, she even surpasses Asuka in terms of damage output as a B1 unit here. This team has been demonstrated to reach stage 9 effectively when all three main DPS are well-invested, and it offers the smoothest progression for advancing to higher stages on Indivilia.

    Kraken

    Crown,Rapi: Red Hood,Scarlet: Black Shadow,Alice,Naga

It appears that Rapi is more effective than Liter in critical situations, especially when it comes to defeating the boss. Investing in a well-equipped Rapi:RH can match or even surpass the damage output during Kraken battles.

    Harvester

    Crown,Rapi: Red Hood,Quency: Escape Queen,Ludmilla: Winter Owner,Naga

Once more, it’s evident that the RRH squad is standing in for Liter. Demonstrating the capacity to reach Stage 9, this group will make it simpler to eliminate bothersome raptures thanks to Rapi’s talent for swiftly eliminating waves.

    Solo Raids

Rapi is projected to claim the top spot in Solo Raids because of her impressive damage output. As more powerful units emerge over time, she might be relegated to a B1 position, but that’s unlikely to happen anytime soon. Practically, she can be integrated into any team, but she performs best when paired with units that optimize her firing frequency.

    Fire team and variations

    Liter,Crown,Rapi: Red Hood,Asuka,Modernia

As a veteran player of this game, I have found that selecting the right character combinations can greatly impact the success of my team and overall performance. From my personal experience, I find that pairing Crown with Rapi is a solid choice for a balanced and effective duo. The reload speed buff on Crown really makes a difference in maintaining a steady stream of fire from Rapi, who has a relatively high reload time and wind-up.

However, if you’re looking to maximize burst damage at the end of a battle, Grave can be an intriguing alternative. With his high burst generation, he can provide one extra powerful attack with Liter before the match ends. But keep in mind that Grave doesn’t offer much ammo support for RRH (Rapi), and may leave you short on ammo at critical moments.

On the other hand, if there isn’t a core to boost attack damage, I would suggest swapping Asuka out for Rei instead. Asuka synergizes well with RRH due to her ability to increase fire allies’ damage dealt to the core. Her buff is effective against both iron and fire bosses, making her a versatile choice in various situations.

In conclusion, the key is understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each character and tailoring your team composition accordingly for optimal results. Happy gaming!

    Iron team and variations

    Liter,Crown,Rapi: Red Hood,Red Hood,Helm: Aquamarine

In simpler terms, instead of using Crown, you might opt for Grave because it significantly boosts Red Hood’s abilities. However, other units can also work in place of Red Hood, with those who offer burst generation being particularly beneficial. The unique aspect of this fire team is that S.Helm fills the flexible position. The damage reduction debuff on the boss will introduce a new multiplier and greatly amplify the damage output of both these high-damage monsters.

    Bunnies team

    Liter,Blanc,Rapi: Red Hood,Flex B3,Noir

Another team that efficiently supports Rapid-Fire Hammer (RRH) is the ‘Bunnies’ squad led by Noir. This is because Noir can boost RRH’s ammunition supply, enabling her to keep firing continuously. By equipping a level 7 bastion cube and having four ammo on Overload (OL), you can ensure that RRH will need to reload only once every three minutes. The selection of the second B3 unit is entirely up to you, but one with burst-generating abilities is highly recommended.

    Tia Naga

    Tia,Liter,Naga,Rapi: Red Hood,Asuka

As a long-time player of this game, I’ve found that Tiga is one of the most effective teams to pair with RRH. Unlike other teams that don’t offer ammo support, Tiga excels in providing offensive buffs that significantly increase RRH’s damage output.

From my personal experience, I’ve noticed that when the core uptime is high enough, Tiga’s ability to allow RRH to hit with perfect accuracy sets them apart from other teams like Modernia. This means that Tiga can be used to boost RRH’s damage in a way that few other teams can.

Even if Tiga doesn’t offer ammo buffs, the offensive buffs they provide make them a valuable asset to have alongside RRH. In fact, I would go so far as to say that using Tiga with RRH is one of the top options for maximizing the potential of this powerful duo.

Overall, I highly recommend giving Tiga a try if you’re looking to get the most out of your RRH. Their ability to buff RRH’s damage makes them an invaluable addition to any team.

    Strengths

    • First dual element Nikke
    • DPS can rival SBS and Cinderella
    • Flexible in many teams due to being dual element and while also being able to excel in any of the Two burst slots
    • Amazing in pretty much all modes, except for PvP, which she can be decent in
    • Basically a “all-in-one” Nikke for new Commanders and pretty much the most recommended to Nikke to get first
    • Finally found her purpose, being meta in every tier list

    Weaknesses

    • Can’t outDPS her trauma away (none really)

Remark: One potential area for improvement is that she might struggle with player versus player combat, and her damage output could significantly decrease if the game frame rate falls below 60.

    Should you pull?

Indeed, the Nikke character is my top choice for acquiring MLB (Max Level Battle), regardless of your spending level. She’s incredibly versatile and shines in various team compositions. It’s unlikely that she will be “power crept” by other characters like Scarlet: Black Shadow or Cinderella anytime soon.
