Prime Video’s Mexican Revenge Thriller Vengeance Dominates On Streaming

Revenge thrillers have become incredibly popular at the movies and on streaming platforms, with films like Taken and John Wick leading the way. Currently, a new movie in this genre, Vengeance, is topping the charts on Prime Video.

I’m really intrigued by this new movie! It seems Carlos, who’s got some serious financial resources, decides to take matters into his own hands and get revenge. He doesn’t just think about it, though – he funds an entire operation, bringing in his closest friends, Miguel Diaz and Lola Ramirez, to help. The lead role is played by Omar Chaparro, who I recognize as the voice of Po in the Spanish version of Kung Fu Panda, so I’m expecting some great performance!

I recently watched Vengeance, directed by Rodrigo Valdes, and it’s got a really strong cast. Alejandro Speitzer, who I remember from Aventuras en el tiempo, plays Miguel, and he’s fantastic as the best friend to the main character. Natalia Solián, who gave a chilling performance in Huesera, is also great as Lola. And Paola Núñez, known for Amor en custodia, plays Colonel Gabriela Rangel. There are also some other talented actors rounding out the cast, like Luis Alberti, Vasil Simeonov, Iazua Larios, Lizeth Selene, and Gustavo Sánchez Parra.

Vengeance Is Perfect for John Wick Fans

If you enjoy this type of movie, Vengeance is a great choice. Interestingly, it shares a connection with the John Wick films – Hristov Diyan, who coordinated stunts for John Wick: Chapter 2, also worked on the stunts for Vengeance.
