As a huge film fan, I’m really excited to hear that Uma Thurman is diving back into action movies with a new film called Pretty Lethal! It sounds wild – a bloody ballerina thriller, which is a concept I’m already on board with. It’s premiering at SXSW in March 2026 before heading to streaming. I always loved her in Kill Bill, she’s such an iconic action star, but I remember reading she stepped back from the genre for a while because she didn’t want to get stuck playing the same type of role. It’s great to see her back, and it sounds like she’s really embracing this new project!
