Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg, known from Strictly Come Dancing, shared a heartwarming video on Instagram Sunday revealing their baby son’s cute nursery.
The couple, a 36-year-old dancer and a 34-year-old YouTube star, are expecting their first child soon. They met and became a couple while partnered on the TV show Strictly Come Dancing in 2018.
Joe helped the couple get ready for their new baby by painting the nursery a fresh white with green accents and cheerful duck wallpaper.
The popular social media personality was spotted constructing a wooden bed and furnishing the room with several wooden items, like a dresser, a bookshelf, and a charming little stool.
As a lifestyle expert, I always say the finishing touches are key! To really make this room feel warm and inviting, Joe and Dianne did a wonderful job adding those personal elements. A comfy armchair instantly creates a cozy vibe, and they cleverly used charming details like kids’ artwork and vintage tennis rackets to add personality. Plus, a basket overflowing with books and cuddly teddy bears? That’s just pure comfort and makes the space feel instantly lived-in and welcoming.
The couple beamed at their baby’s charming duck-themed nursery, celebrating with a high five as Joe gently held Dianne’s pregnant belly.
Joe shared that he’s been having fun decorating a baby boy’s bedroom on the weekends. He jokingly added that if the child develops a fear of ducks or old tennis rackets, they’ll understand the reason why!
I especially love the bookshelf because my grandfather made it. I think he’d be really proud to see it hanging on the wall.
This follows Dianne revealing her baby bump while wearing a bikini and sharing selfies with her boyfriend, Joe, last week.
The expectant mother looked stunning in a green bikini top and white floral shorts as she proudly displayed her baby bump before heading for a swim.
Dianne, known for her red hair, smiled brightly for the cameras and shared that she’s currently focused on swimming as much as possible.
The dancer, who is expecting her baby soon, shared that swimming makes her feel amazing. She said it’s when her body feels its best.
She posted several affectionate photos with YouTube personality Joe while they continued filming their new TV show across the UK.
Unlike Strictly, this show follows a couple as they travel the country and discover traditional crafts.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I just found out the BEST news! Dianne told everyone – they’re actually filming a TV show! It’s called ‘Raiders of the Lost Crafts,’ and it’s going to be on Sky HISTORY – and get this – both Joe and Dianne are starring in it! Joe and Dianne gave fans a sneak peek of what’s to come in the series by posing for a photo that recreated a famous scene from the 1990 movie Ghost, featuring a pottery wheel.
Photos showed Joe struggling to build a metal frame around an old wooden wheel. Meanwhile, Dianne displayed a detailed stone carving before she and Joe took a carving class together.
The last picture showed Dianne gently holding her baby bump while relaxing on the beach during a break from filming, gazing down at her stomach with affection.
The new show doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet, but it’s anticipated to air on Sky History.
The couple shared the exciting news of their first pregnancy in September and have been regularly updating their fans on how things are going.
Dianne made history on Strictly as the first professional dancer to compete while pregnant. Unfortunately, her partner Stefan Dennis had to withdraw from the competition in 2025 because of an injury.
Joe and Dianne became a couple after being partnered together on the sixteenth season of Strictly Come Dancing in 2018.
